BEWARE OF UNIT 1-105
I booked this unit for my parents as a Christmas gift. Paid about $650.00. Walked through the door, the maid was cleaning up a flooding issue in the bathroom attached to the bedroom. Told the owner, Andrea Abad, and house keeper, they said they would send a plumber- no one came. Told the owner no one came- never responded. Called front desk, said they couldn't do anything because this unit is privately-owned. On top of that, there was issues with the front door, remote control and they gave us the wrong code for the pool. Terrible experience.
This unit is so old and damaged. It desperately needs an update. Make sure you do NOT get this unit! ice machine so rusty that we did not want to use it. Living room couch and pillows so old and used looking.
Best Maui Vacation Stay ever
They gave me a lovely condo at Kamaole Sands, across from the beach, was so clean, newly updated place with great view, I couldn't be happier. I did not need to turn on A/C , just turned on ceiling fan and open the window feeling the Kihei's cross breeze. I have been here more than a week and I don't want to leave. But above all, those ladies at customer service are excellent.
It was a beautiful stay during tough times, so it was a great 2 day get away. The room we had had air conditioning came with 2 beach chairs which helped cause who doesn’t go to the beach while out in Kihei, fully furnished from couch, TV, to pots and pans. It was a nice quiet stay, very easy to check in and check out. Free WiFi, The staff was very friendly and was sure to sanitize very well, since every time I walked out I saw someone sanitizing the rails. We didn’t go to the pool however it seemed not to many people were there, and there was also a tennis court! Great place to stay in the middle of everything, 5 mins from a grocery store, 2 minute walk away from the beach, and a 2 minute drive away from activities such as the mall, shaved Ice, snorkel gear, and so on. Would very well recommend!
Great place to stay. Good location.
Our family of 6 (2 adults & 4 kids - 10, 7, 4, 4) stayed in a 2 bedroom condo in March 2018. There was a master bedroom with a king size bed, a 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a fold out couch in the living room. There were 2 bathrooms. The good: across from Kamaole Beach 3 and walking distance to Kamaole Beach 2 which are both great family beaches. The kitchen in the room was really convenient and had great appliances. The dining table was big and helped with getting ready for the daily activities. The property was easy to find. The bad: The parking is assigned and really tight. If you have a van or mid-size SUV, plan on having someone get out and direct you into your parking spot. We were given 6 beach towels for 6 people. The issue with this is that the washer/dryer combo is running constantly and you have to get laundry soap within 24 hours of getting there. I had to buy 6 more beach towels so we would be able to go to the beach more than 1 time per day. The location in relation to restaurants is bad. There was 2 restaurants within walking distance of the condo. This meant we had to drive every time we wanted something to eat or had to use Maui Hopper to order food. I would stay here again without my children due to the walking distances to restaurants. If i traveled with the kids, I would pick a different location in Kihei or on Maui in general.
