Vacation away from husbands
Great service, excellent food. Enjoyed my service by my waiter Rolando & Angela was a very pleasant manager who helped us with our reservations. Steak and salmon were very good. Drinks were delightful!
I came to this resort for a festival (breakaway). The staff was nice but spoke very little English. Definitely tip for better service. We couldn't find frozen drinks anywhere! The alcohol was watered down and of horrible quality. The mixers didn't taste right either. Overall the drinks sucked, we eventually switched to four lokos. Also, all the bars on the resort closed at 11 pm!! At first, our water didn't work and then it was yellow! However, they fixed both issues fast. The food wasn't good. Avoid the buffets! My friend got food poisoning from one of the buffets. The resort wasn't clean but there were a lot of college students partying there at the time. We also were only allowed on one side of the resort... If you want to leave the resort, you had to pay $25 for a covid test to come back. If you go to the beach, drug dealers will come up to you even though there were cops. The cartel definitely runs the resort. Multiple times the cartel shut down our concerts for no reason with HUGE guns. Stay clear of the cartel!! Overall, it was a great experience but I wouldn't go back to this resort. Definitely a young party resort. If you're looking for a family vacation DONT COME HERE!
Our June desination wedding was awesome. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. Danna was an amazing wedding coordinator! Our wedding package included VIP check-in, room upgrade, flowers, wedding cake, and romantic dinner!
Sensoria at the Grand Oasis Cancun
Special thanks to Mari and Diana for the amazing therapeutic massage experience they provided at Sensoria. The setting was perfect for relaxation and comfort. Diana's hands provided a healing touch, and the aromatherapy put me right to sleep 💤. My only suggestion is to improve the quality and variety of towels and robes provided.
Worst experience of my life
Room keys didn't work, security had blocked off so we had to sneak around security to get to the front desk and they tried to charge us for new room keys and we had to argue to tell them no they couldn't charge us, the food was inedible and the drinks we undrinkable, literally had to go offsite to eat and drink every day, security tried to stop us from leaving the resort and getting back in every time, the rooms flooded and smelled of sewer, the shower didn't drain, the beach was blocked off and security wouldn't let us access it, it felt like we were in prison worst experience of my life literally a horrible hotel.
