Great resort and beautiful beach!
Great resort and beautiful beach! Also very thankful for how they handled a complex situation for one of our family members. They did a wonderful job and went above and beyond, special thanks to Elisa and Tristan!
Never ever again
I'm a travel agent that came to check out this resort on behalf of my clients. First the person who checked me in setup the wifi in my phone without telling me that only one device can be used so in order to work now I have to pay for wifi. Second my sister and 19yr old nephew have to share a bed even though a double room was requested months ago. Third I asked for a closer room due to a disability and my room is the furthest possible. They're unable to fix ANY of these issue. The grounds are dirty, there are people smoking in the pool... Not only will I never return I'll never book any of my clients at any Oasis property. Having my family members here is embarrassing. On the other hand I was at Dreams before checking into Oasis and they were accommodating and great as usual. Lesson learned.
Volleyball on the beach
Great activity! Alex & Alfredo were amazing. Our first time playing volleyball, they instructed me well and I had a great time! Highly recommended! Don’t miss out on it! Even if you have never done it, you won’t regret it!!
The Worst place ever!
This is the worst place I have ever stayed. I found a dead Lizard in my room. When I found the lizard I tried calling the front desk about 20 times and they would not answer. I walked down to the desk and told me that I was calling and he told me that I need to go back up and keep trying because there might be a shift change. I went back up to my room and waited a while then kept trying to call. Still no answer. So I waited a while longer then called numerous times again, and still no answer. I walked down and asked when I was calling what phone rings and he pointed to the one he should have been answering. This place is a joke. The food is absolutely awful, so if you plan on staying here please do yourself a favor and budget for food off the resort. Both room service and the front desk do not answer when called. Also most of the workers at the resort do not speak English so you can’t ask for help trying to find things. We came during covid and we were told this was the best place to stay in Cancun by several people . I’m hoping that they get a bigger budget after covid because all the stress from this hotel is enough to make a week getaway into a stressful job.
Overall would not recommend even for the cheaper price. Pros- beautiful blue beach and good location to downtown and airport. Cons- staff is not helpful or accommodating. I stayed for 7 days and only had water in the minibar filled on day 1 and day 7. I asked every day in between for water to be restocked and they did not. Also, they resort is very understaffed and it takes so long to get drinks at the very limited bars. There are no waiters or cabana boys to take orders anywhere on site: not at the beach, not at the pool, not at the cabanas, not at the lounges.
