    Terrible Pool Bar/Restaurant service

We had choices of hotels and decided on the Hawaiian village. Room was clean and a beautiful location. Staff seemed friendly other than the security guy that decided that approached me while drinking my morning coffee a(after 30 minute wait) to tell me i needed to leave as guests are not allowed to reserve chairs in advance. He went on to say I was considered to be reserving a chair by sitting in it...i left after a few unkindly words (sorry). The real issue is there is one bar that is "open" serving ALL the pools and essentially 1 place "open" the "Houh Tree sp?,that you can get a meal and sit. Drinks are limited, no electricity in the bar and the menu is not only extremely limited but they ran out of many of the items. I get that being "open" has different meanings these days but a bar should have electricity to make and keep things cold and a restaurant should have food. . Other hotel restaurants that we have gone to were open and very enjoyable so it can be done. As a diamond Member i do hope Hilton can figure it out.

    Could do better....

No one cleaned the halls or elevators the whole trip, not a lot of help around the resort to guide you, check in was long and problematic for us and everyone around us, they seemed bothered when you needed something.

    Mini vaca

This resort is beautiful! We stayed in a corner room in the Rainbow Tower with 2 balconies overlooking the water. The room was clean, all staff were friendly. Only advice I would give is book the luau in advance (they were already booked for the week when we got here due to covid/social distancing. I would come back in a heartbeat!

    Great BUT.......

My family recently stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and had a very good time. They were very friendly, all food we had was very good, and the rooms we had were clean. The only complaint is that the coy pond in front of Bali Steak House in the Rainbow Tower needs to be cleaned very BADLY. It is not fair for the fish to die because they are not cleaning it. PLEASE MANAGEMENT save the coy! I did mention this to a manager in the Hilton Grand Vacations part, and I hope someone will do the right thing and clean it up. I am only giving a one star to get attention of management.

    Disappointed

Most of the restaurants on site were closed 1 hr wait for Starbucks at 6:30am 2 of the water slides were closed, one was broken for over 2 years The hot tubs were closed due to Corona, there was garbage in them and green algae growing in them Totally Gross and unsanitary The room was clean but they would not clean it on a daily bases unless you requested someone to come clean it
