Great location and very nice staff
My daughter and I stayed for four nights. Overall we enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We opted out of housekeeping but could easily get any thing we needed on request. The room was spacious but could use a little improvement. The bathroom door would slide open but we found a way to use paper items to jam in it to keep it from opening. A simple latch hook would work to keep it closed. The bathroom door was the only really annoying part of our stay. I would come back.

Good Hotel, Great Location!
Love the location in Scottsdale. Yet this hotel's atrium is outdoors, which is unusual for an Embassy Suites. Check in was fast & easy. Nice standard room. Very comfortable bed, great night's sleep. Breakfast, due to the Covid crud, was unorthodox. The did have hot food, but the staff had to serve it. The food itself was good, the staff serving it seemed unhappy at the world. We ate and checked out. I can get over the age of the hotel, especially when treated graciously. This location needs some hospitality training in their restaurant. Yet overall, it was a good one-night stay!

Excellent Location and Welcoming Staff
The hotel is in an excellent location and within walking distance (1/2 mile) to 5th Ave entertainment district. The rooms are in great condition, clean, large, and what you would expect from an Embassy Suites. The grounds are clean and the fitness center is phenomenal, one of the best I've experienced from this type of hotel. The staff was very friendly, including Debbie who was the most personable and enjoyable staff member we encountered. Breakfast was good, although limited in offerings and they made sure everyone who entered had masks on. The social hour was okay and there was no mask mandate since many people stopped wearing them when walking around. The snack foods were prepackaged items like pretzels, nuts, and chips. That was disappointing since they could have done something better. The pool chairs and lounge furniture was worn out, several broken or ripped cushions. There is one heated pool at the front of the complex, the back pool is not heated. Several elevators were broken, one of which was on and off throughout the stay in the back of the building so stairs were the only option for a few days. Overall, it's a decent place if you can get a good deal. If you're looking for more of resort atmosphere, then this place is not something I'd recommend since there are so many other options with more amenities than what is offered here.

Worn out old Hilton property with non functioning elevators servicing back building
This is a very tired Hilton property. It had good reviews and we stayed last week and regretted wasting money staying here while so many other nice hotels are nearby. We did it based on a recommendation from a friend that lives nearby. Positives Very nice fitness center and tennis court Location Negatives Both elevators were out of service for the East building. We were on the 3rd floor and were never called to ask if we wanted to be moved. Clear American Disabilities Act (ADA) Violation. No cleaning service unless you call for it. This means everyone is calling the front desk for towels etc. Took 4 calls and 8 hours to get what we requested. Breakfast isn't what ES is known for. Very limited, no bananas for 3 days with stores next door. Happy hour isn't what ES is known for either. Sutter home wine bad/limited snack selection. Very dated and tired property. Looks like it's from the 70s. Pool furniture had holes in loungers and materials were very soiled. Never got my receipt emailed after asking 3 times. Reported one of those mercury light bulbs (curly ones) was previously broken in a lamp and I needed a new one. Never get a replacement in 5 days and these are very toxic (Mercury) and hardly used anymore in favor of LED sealed bulbs. Hope we didn't get too much mercury exposure. No luggage carts for the back building we were staying in.

Comfortable and Quiet
Sleeping on the road for work can be difficult. But not here. Even on Halloween night was quiet. Very comfortable beds. King suite has a very functional work space. USB ports in lamps and alarm clock. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. I'll stay here again.
