    Home Away from Home

While working in NOLA from December 2024 to June 2025, I had the pleasure of staying at this Holiday Inn. This is by far one of the cleanest, best-run hotels that I have stayed in. The front desk is professional, prompt, and welcoming. Security officers Mr. Huey and Mr. Errine always made time to talk to me and check on my well-being. Ms. Florence is one of the hardest-working custodians and takes great pride in her cleaning. Ms. Stephanie, working at the Clarinet Coffee shop, makes great iced lattes. Mr. Max and Ms. Hannah took great care of me while dining in the restaurant (at table 7). The seafood pasta, BBQ cheddar burger, and breakfast options are all well prepared. If you are in NOLA, this is the place to stay. As the staff told me upon my departure, "This isn't goodbye, it's see you later."

5 Stars – Thanks to Officer Huey!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn New Orleans Superdome for six nights. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service I received after my stay. I accidentally had Amazon packages shipped to the hotel instead of my home. When I called, Officer Huey was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. He personally tracked down the packages, kept them secure in the mailroom, and followed up daily—even when others didn’t. He took the initiative to find the right person (Ms. Ashley in Guest Services) to ship them, and once they were sent, he texted me updates and even photos of the boxes and tracking labels. His communication and care went far above and beyond. If you stay here, make sure to say hello to Officer Huey—he’s a true example of exceptional service. One heads-up: skip the hotel restaurant—too expensive and not worth it. But there are tons of great food options nearby!

    Amazing staff

From the outside it looks like a run of the mill Holiday Inn. Inside the rooms are quite nice, very clean and the artwork in the hallways is beautiful. But it is the staff that make this hotel amazing. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, one even assisted me in printing a gift certificate to Gallatoire's that a friend had emailed me. The restaurant and bar staff was also terrific, as was the food. But Huey, the evening lobby security officer was simply the best. He's a NOLA native and would always give folks a bit of history about the places they were going. He managed to be both warm and friendly to the hotel's guests and firm with the few non-guests who tried to come in. New Orleans can feel dicey in places but the staff here all went the extra mile and it definitely made this a very warm stay. I was in town for work but the next time I visit for pleasure, I will definitely book a night here again.

    Good experience

Holiday Inn was a good hotel. The staff was very nice and helped with a friendly attitude. The only thing that made me score a 4 star because it took until after 5pm for all my rooms were ready on check in day. I had a total of 5 rooms. Also we had to ask most of the trip for toiletries and towels after our rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast was very good. Their was one staff member Officer Huey that made our stay very pleasant. He was very phenomenal. He greeted my family everyday with a very pleasant smile and attitude. He also assisted with our stay in New Orleans with no hesitation.

    Absolutely THE BEST

While the room itself was very comfortable and clean, what stood head and shoulders above everything was THE STAFF. The concierge, Charlene I believe, was extraordinary. She treated us just like friends and we greatly appreciated how special she made us feel. We also must mention Officer H. Harrison. He not only gave us wonderful recommendations on the must see sights as well as directions on how to get around but he was the nicest person. He greeted us by name every time he saw us and again we were treated as friends. We will definitely return here as well as we have already referred others to this exact hotel.
