Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. - One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required
 per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. - In the event that any guest(s) engaging in inappropriate behavior, disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s)

STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family-oriented environment, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. Students/youth are considered by the hotel as any person between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:

  • All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
  • In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

    the best!!

    one of my best trips !! my friends loved the hotel food and staff .. every day was fun especially with the entertainment group who pulled us out of our shell every day and made the trip active and vibrant. we cant wait to go back and hang with you again Alton, Nataki, Reggie Verona and Ricardo, we found a friends that are family. Jamaica is my favourite place

    Wheelchair users beware

    What we loved: The service was unmatched. Each room was assigned a personal butler, who was just a call away if needed. Mr. Barrington at the Service desk went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. - FOOD – the food was good and the buffet often had a good selection of authentic Jamaican food, which we appreciated - Access to all properties on the compound (keep in mind children are limited to areas where 18+ age restrictions are not enforced) - Spacious rooms -complete ramp access to pools/beach Cons for Wheelchair users -no beach wheel chairs on property (chairs can be rented through an outside company for an additional cost) -stair only access to disco on property -transport vehicles (taxi) -not accessible -no handicap automatic door openers -poor shower design for accessibility (temperature control is on the opposite end of the handheld shower head) not practical for those with mobility issues -Handheld shower head was not sturdy and caused a bathroom fall! very dangerous - ocean view rooms not accessible (view of pool or courtyard for accessible rooms) -staff had limited knowledge about what was/was not accessible and we had to do our own research to get information about services not available to us. While we enjoyed our stay at this resort, experience cannot make up for what this property lacks in accessibility features. I would not recommend this resort to individuals who depend on mobility aids.

    Exceeded expectations

    We celebrated a special birthday during our second stay at this resort. It was nothing short of excellent!!! Everyone was polite, the food was tasty and the amenities were superb! Two employees, Cassandra in the bar and Freddy in Sales, went above and beyond the call of duty! We look forward to our next stay!

    Annual Girls’ Getaway

    This was our second time at this resort and although the weather was not ideal the staff made our trip special and enjoyable. Barrington at the front desk was so warm and welcoming and our Butler, Oneal, was always on top of our every need. Can not wait to go back next year!

    Can't do enough...

    Grand was a wonderful experience. Short ride from the Airport. BEWARE of the $10 beers at the Airport soon as you walk out the door. Red Stripe $10 Please.. Anyway back to the review. Staying at the Grand gives you the options to visit the other hotels on the property. That is included in you all inclusive. The lobby is very nice.. The lobby bar for morning ice coffee and cake was a nice touch. Also nice spot for late morning cocktails. Room was very spacious with great view from balcony.. Couch and swing chair made it great place for afternoon rest. The service from top to bottom was fantastic. Very friendly always available. Tipping goes along way. Poolside service was quick for drinks and food. I have to be truthful. The buffet is always the best option vast variety of food and dessert choice. Steakhouse was ok. Need to check plates when they come out steak was good vegetables were cold. Asked for a lobster tail for a side to share with my wife it must have been out to long and was spoiled. Last thing.. Why do resorts feel the need to have Italian restaurants.. They never pull it off. This place had no plates the resemble Italian food. Being from New York.. Idea.... Jamaican restaurant jerk chicken other types of Jamaican fare. Jamaican musician and musicians pictures on the walls. Anyway the pools beach entertainment were great. I would go back ...
