Don't book direct, the coupons are no longer beneficial
To begin with, when we checked in the girl was not very personable. She hardly smiled at all, and when checking us in, she placed the coupon book on the counter without one explanation about what it was. Luckily, I stayed here last year and was familiar. Let's talk about that coupon book. Last year, there were coupons for BOGO meals at Magnolia and at Binions. This year, it looks like those coupons are cut out, they were stubs in our coupon book. The $5.00 free slot play coupon also did not apply to me because I was not a new player. My boyfriend got to use it. For the most part, the coupons in that book are worthless, so IF I stay here again, I will book through a third-party and save some money. Booking directly through the FQ website made sense when you factor in the coupons, but since they are no longer there or not available to returning guests...you might as well not book directly. We also had a rental car. I had read online that parking for hotel guests was free. The first time we pulled into the garage, we took a ticket and told the super friendly (LOL) front desk person that we had a car, showed her the ticket we took, and she gave us a hangtag. All she said was "this will get you out of the garage". That's it. The tag got us OUT of the garage, but when we came back in, we assumed we could take a ticket and then use the tag to get out. Nope. We tried to leave for a lunch reservation, couldn't get out, and by the time they figured it out...we were late. Turns out, you have to use the tag to get IN and OUT of the garage. The room was clean, the housekeeping staff was nice and very attentive. The room location, however, was awful. It was on the eighth floor, directly above the Fremont s Street bandstand. We got NO sleep at all during our stay. It was absolutely horrible. FQ shouldn't rent those end rooms, or at the very least they should soundproof the windows. If they do want to rent those, guests should get a significant discount. The room was #849, and we were there from June 23rd-27th. I was here last year with a friend of mine, we were a couple of rooms in from the end and never heard the band.

Never ever again
Had to have been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at . Sure no resort fees but that’s what attracts guests there, that’s why we stayed there . Also 100 security deposit, I’m thinking I won’t even get that back and we only stayed 2 nights . The first morning there no hot water , no one at the front desk could say when it would be back on. If you’re a non smoker this place isn’t for you, the whole hotel reeked of smoke, I wasn’t even asked if we wanted smoking or non smoking room . Don’t think it would matter as the whole place just reeked of smoke. I know the 4 Queens is an old hotel . The owners should really consider shutting down and remodeling to bring it up to date. The hotel is a shambles. This was and will be the only time staying here. I’d much rather have a resort fee for a better quality hotel , and also a hotel that doesn’t ask for 100 security deposit. I’ll be surprised if I get that back . Thinking they’ll find the smallest thing not to refund the deposit.

good vacation spot
loved this hotel. my aunt invited me for a weekend and we got a huge double queen room with ADA access. The room was very clean and well maintained. we had a great view and were in a great location. THe slot machines paid out great. was a wonderful vacation. The only thing is the restaurant could have had better service and less rude employees working there. Other than that the rest of the hotel was wonderful.

No Resort Fee!
Right in the middle of Fremont Street Experience. Only place that doesn't charge you the ridiculous "Resort Fee". Nice place, renovated, and clean. Great deal for the price. Make sure to get a room on the SOUTH side of the building if you go to bed before midnight, as the music off Fremont Street is loud until midnight on North facing rooms.
