Great hotel for a base to explore Vegas.
Stayed here with my husband in July for 5 nights, Checking in: Checking in was easy, we did use the online check in and digital key, which did not work so I did have to go to the desk but was given a key within a few minutes as there was a dedicated section of the check-in desk for room keys. Our room was located on the ground floor with a view of the air con units, but I have since read that if you do the online you are more likely to be allocated a room like this. So I guess you have to make a decision when you arrive if there is a long queue if you're willing to stand there and wait. We were not bothered by the view as we were only using the room as a base. Room: Our room was very clean, large and comfortable. Only thing missing was a fridge, it had everything else available to us. The room was very large and had two queen sized beds which were very comfortable. Housekeeping were extremely efficient, we didn't spend much time in our room and when we hadn't requested the room be cleaned, as it we didn't need anything replinished, the housekeeping manager came to see us to make sure all was okay and that we had everything we needed. The hotel itself does need updating but we found it to be very clean and comfortable. One morning we found the toilet to be blocked, quickly called the front desk told them we were leaving for the day, we came back for a quick break just after lunch and the issue had been fixed. Hotel & Casino: Hotel itself offers a variety of bars, restaurants and fast food options both on the casino floor and upstairs in the food court. Upstairs and through the food court there is a bridge linking the Excalibur hotel to the Luxor, you can then get a tram from the Luxor through to Mandalay Bay. We used this alot and found it extremely helpful as we did visit when it was over 40 degrees and walking was near impossible. We would definitely stay at this hotel again, staff were lovely and we did not have any bad exepriences.

Excalibur a no go
If you like the smell of pee, cigarettes, weed, and rude staff, you'll love it. If there was an option to score it with 'run away' i absolutely would. The only viable rooms for peace and quiet are on the royal tower and only even number rooms. Good luck.

A Great Value for the Price!
I recently stayed at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas and was pleasantly surprised by the value it offers for the price. The hotel is located conveniently on the Strip, making it an ideal choice for those who want to be close to all the action without breaking the bank. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities you need for a pleasant stay. While the decor may feel a bit dated compared to some of the newer luxury hotels, it's well worth the price considering the location and the overall experience. The beds were surprisingly comfy, and I had no trouble getting a restful night’s sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the variety of dining options available on-site. From quick bites to more formal dining, there's something for everyone. The hotel also offers great entertainment options, with a medieval-themed atmosphere that adds a fun touch to the overall experience. For the price, it’s hard to beat the Excalibur. It's not the fanciest hotel in Vegas, but if you're looking for a solid, budget-friendly option with a good location, this is definitely a great choice.

Excalibur Casino and Hotel I will Be Back.
The total experience was great (Once again!) The Excalibur is one of the oldest but always exciting when I visit the Excalibur Casino and Resort. Slots are a hit and miss. Just like all other Casinos on the strip. The Buffet has a great selection, the Food Core has great selection a bit of everything. The Italian Restaurant Buca Di Beppo -Love it, Love It! Paste prepared like Grandma's own - Great food selection and reasonable price. Dicks Last Resort-Fun food experience - They break all house rules -Love eating there. Huge weird food experience-Love it.

Not a good experience
Room wast below Motel 6 standards, lack of housekeeping, took 3 calls to get towels. Not maintained, outlets not working etc. Lamps mismatched, generally not a clean room, stains on bedspread. Housekeeping showed up one day out of 4, took multiple calls to get fresh towels with manager involved. I can't see staying here again.
