    New York in Vegas

The resort is located in a perfect spot right at the end of the strip near all the shopping and food! The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable, and the hotel quiet!! Huge downside; no microwave, no mini fridge, not even a coffee pot. Personal opinion, I thought the soap and shampoo stunk. Great hotel but a bit too expensive for its worth.

    Nice hotel and casino

Mattress is great. Room is clean and bright. Lots of storage space. Nice to find wash cloths still offered here. Room was quiet even late at night even though we were close to the elevators. My husband got stuck in the elevator on floor 30 twice which was a bit scary. Doors wouldnt open. Heard it happened a few times that week. Called the desk to report it and their response was "Maybe he should stay away from the 30th floor." Wasn't happy with that response but the rest of the stay was great.

    Not so New York

The bed was super hard. My Husband loved it but I woke up with a sore back and then had to fly home that next day with a sore back. Not my idea for a great stay. Coaster will shut down if it rains so just be causes if you purchase a all day scream pass they can't do anything if they shut down. We only got to ride once. The Mad Apple show isn't on every night if you want to see it the night you stay you have to pay more for those nights FYI. Also call the hotel to make sure the pool is open we didn't know it was shut down the night we stayed so we couldn't do that either. So during our stay we went to dinner and did some loosing on the slots then went back to our room and watched tv because there wasn't much anything else to do. This was my birthday eve and we had plans to do things and didn't' end up doing much of anything. :(

    Long trek

Except for the long walk from the elevator to our room ...jacuzzi spa suite and the fact our keys didn't work and had to trek back the casino floor is very active and enjoyable. Many food options are available also. The coasters can be a little noisy if your room is on that side.

    noisy and underwhelming

The biggest issue I had was that everything everywhere was noisy. Trying to eat in the food area was super noisy walking past the bars was super noisy. The hallway where my guest room was had a super noisy ice machine and vending machine. The HVAC and Plumbing in my room was super noisy. My sleep was terrible partly due to the noise and partly due to the worn out bed. On the Casino floor many of the dealers were Gruff and a little bit rude. I'm not sure if that was intentionally to replicate New York City but it wasn't appreciated.
