Look elsewhere!
The staff is the friendliest I’ve seen in Mexico. The Hotel is very worn down and not clean. Common areas have lots of sand on walkways and you’ll track it into your room. There are places on the facade that look like there may be mold. The ac was mediocre at best and that is after calling for service twice. There’s two restaurants and food selection is very limited. There are better options in my opinion to stay, regardless of the money. Good luck.

The good, bad and ugly
All staff and general workers were great. Food subpar pukfyg-2hekqe-ruHpyz. No real options. If you are dissatisfied with the breakfast, order an omelet! Probably a great inexpensive place for a family with kids on a budget. Do NOT NOT NOT take the Unlimited Vacations Club presentation. Read The NY Times article and be prepared before you go. The article will tell you better than I can. We made the best of what was offered. Copious amounts of alcohol helps. We would not consider returning. Read recent reviews. Anything negative is probably true.

Horrible
Staff is very rude and food is sub par. They let the resorts on each side of you use your resort but you can’t go anywhere else. This crowds the only two restaurants you have access to. They will also try to trick you into a time share. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Also no room service at an “all inclusive” is wild!

Deceptive advertising, 1/3 smaller than 3 years ago.
This resort has really gone downhill in the past few years. Despite the advertisements they are down to one restaurant and one outdoor eating place. Many times they are not both open. This was our third visit in the past 5 years and we won't be returning. Only two bars now. Deceptive advertising on the website and other places. This place is approximately 1/3 the size it was 3 years ago. So does not compare to most of the other resorts on the island for the same price.

Sunscape stay November 24
The staff is Awesome at Sunscape. Our room was clean and well kept for us. The Beach and facilities were kept up and clean everyday. I would recommend Sunscape to any family looking for a fun atmosphere. The Staff for the activities for the kids was great!
