Lovely trip
My partner and I had a lovely time at Secrets Aura in Cozumel! We spent 7 days, enjoying multiple dives with the Dive House (located on the resort, they were very accommodating!) This is definitely a more quaint Secrets resort. But we thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness. It was always easy to get a chair by the beach. The water was clear and calm. We had a swim up suite with a waterslide that went down to the main pool (very fun! But our waterslide was busted. A neighbouring waterslide still worked.) The staff was amazing (special shout out to Arbey for all the fun activities and great energy!) We found the drinks very good. But, the food options were limited. Not being “preferred” club meant that we couldn’t eat at the restaurants for breakfast or lunch. Only room service or the barefoot grill. The restaurants alternated which were open each night. We preferred Bordeaux, but even by day 7, we were getting a bit tired of the food. Not being preferred club also meant we couldn’t play tennis, which was a bit disappointing for us. But given the price, I still don’t think preferred club would be worth it. Overall, we would return! We had a wonderful time :)

Good times and great food
The event coordinator, Arbey Aguilar, was an exceptional surprise during our stay. Arbey exuded an abundance of positive energy and successfully orchestrated memorable events for the guests’ enjoyment. Should I return, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with Arbey once more.

Great friends weekend at Secrets Aura Cozumel
Had an awesome 5 day weekend with some friends at the Secrets Cozumel! The Resort was beautiful, and the Staff was great! Thanks to Clara for always helping whenever we needed anything, Arbey for the awesome entertainment and making us smile, also the Spa staff Maribel, Manuel and Ana (amazing massage) thanks a ton! Definitely recommend the hydrotherapy to start your day off on the right foot! It was nice having the privacy of the 18+ as well, but having access to the Dreams and Sunscape next door meant lots of room to explore if we wanted to. Cozumel is a nice little peaceful spot to escape! Don't hesitate!

Great way to celebrate Thanksgiving
Beautiful clean beaches. Between Secrets and Dreams, we had an incredible Thanksgiving celebration. We could play with the kids and retreat to Secrets for rest. I highly recommend the Preferred club. Also, try the yoga each morning, taught by highly experienced teachers from the US.

A little visit to Cazu-hell
I chose this hotel because it had very good reviews on TripAdvisor and Yelp. However, I was immensely disappointed in my stay. The property was run down. The food options were nearly non-existent and below average in quality. The only thing that I have to say nice about this resort is that the majority of staff members were friendly. The majority of staff members are also friendly at a house of ill-repute. There was one staff member who truly went out of his way to make this a more positive vacation experience. His name was Aubrey, and unfortunately, he is the only good thing I can really say about this resort.
