Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.

Spring Break Policy - Bookings in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:

  • The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
  • Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. of the remaining nights.
  • In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

    Experience

    One of the best experience I have had. Food, employees, customer service, restaurants, beach, pool, environment, room, etc. All the staff members were so nice to me and my wife and made us feel incredibly welcomed. We would recommend this place to family and friends. Overall 9/10

    Amazing experience

    Beautiful resort but it’s the workers that make it an absolutely amazing experience. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, we loved the beach, the food, and the drinks. Please pay your staff more, they deserve it and ensure your guest keep returning year after year.

    The best service

    Excellent service and stay! The staff was fabulous and were alway available to help with anything I needed. The room and all of the amenities were fabulous! The food is also excellent! ❤️🤩 I am part of the Pretige club and I highly recommend!!!!

    Birthday experience at Bavaro Grand/Joia

    The rooms are cool and relaxing. Our butler, Robert, was very involved in our day-to-day and did his best to ensure we had everything we needed. Grounds are immaculate and ambiance is very calming and relaxing. I celebrated my birthday and had dinner on the beach. Our server, Rafael, and butler, Robert, made sure it was an event I would never forget. I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing time, good food, and friendly people. If you want to party, the selections next door is the place to go, just a short walk or cart ride away.

    Iberostar did it AGAIN! JOYOUS time @ JOIA Bávaro

    Iberostar is our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE resort chain. We celebrated our wedding anniversary for 1 week @ JOIA Bávaro. TOP NOTCH service & accommodations. Special shout out to the activities staff, "Jodi", "Smiley" and "Churrasco" for helping to make each day fun filled. Thank you to our butlers Alex & Danilo for being so attentive & thoughtful. Star Prestige staff Yaritza for being so helpful & pleasant. Thumbs up for Victor, the bartender in the lobby. EXCELLENT expresso martinis on our last day! The food was fantastic! The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The pools were awesome and the beach area was cleaned daily. Can't say enough about the overall experience. Would HIGHLY recommend this resort and resort brand to anyone seeking a high quality all-inclusive resort experience.
