Oct 14, 2024Disappointed, not as advertised and definitely not “luxury included”
The hotel itself was ok, but no way 5 star as stated. Needs a lot of improvement. Also, the most disappointing part was the hotel CLOSING the buffet restaurant without any notice. On their app, everything is open, in reality they expected you to go to the sister hotel for food. The food there was not good at all! Also, some members of staff seem to only serve locals and never ask if we wanted a drink. I would definitely not recommend this hotel as it stands.

Terrible hotel worst I’ve ever stayed in please don’t read the comments about how great it is there’s nothing great about it 8 days in still 1 restaurant open and that’s the buffet still can’t wait to go home so many people are complaining would feed my dog the food here and please don’t look at these bot reviews as 2 excellent reviews will appear after this 😂😂

It was an ok stay. Diamond club was not worth it at this location. Hardly seen butler. Had to ask multiple times for restock in our room (water/beer/face clothes) Tip: if you want a true diamond club expierence visit st. Lucia! Royalton on st Lucia was amazing. Food was just ok. Nothing great. Buffet better than the restaurants. Under the sea was the better meal we had. Service was sub par - some days couldn’t get a drink at the pool. Having to take the train to the splash was a pain. Easier to just walk. The white party was a great time! We have visited many all inclusive. RPC is low on our list - we wouldn’t return (we normally visit places we like multiple times)

After reading some negative reviews was bit concerned about this resort. However our holiday was fantastic. Yes the place is having a little work done but it's nothing major. We found the food tasty especially from Zen and Hunters restaurants. The service we had from the staff was always good especially the team working in Dips pool bar. Our room was freshly cleaned everyday and was nice and comfy with good aircon. The beach definitely the highlight of the resort, its amazing. Also seen bad reviews about the app,it must have been updated and sorted as found no problems with it and was easy to book meals for the restaurants. The only complaint would make would be the food in score sports bar wasn't the best but I'm sure will be improved. As a whole would definitely recommend this resort and would love to come back in the future

Chef Edgar at the March Buffet
We stayed at the Royalton Punta Cana Splash and had dinner at Marche on the Royalton Punta Cana side. This review is about a hidden gem...his name is Edgar. He is the chef at the fish station where you select the seafood and he cooks it for you on the spot. My family is selective about how fish is prepared...we like tuna seared and salmon just barely cooked through. We requested and he knocked it out of the park. We make this request in many good restaurants and it is rare that it is delivered. He seasoned with care, drizzled just enough oil and moved like a chef...non cooking arm behind his back...efficient...kept the station clean. When the fish was ready...he plated it with care and passed it to reach person with a hand on his heart and a smile. My family will be back to dine at March because we want seafood by Edgar. We all agree that Edgar should be at Under the Sea...the seafood restaurant!
