It’s too big of a Hotel for the amount of restaurants. The wait is horrible. Over an hour at every restaurant. The only good thing are the activities and the location. The food isn’t great. There are way better hotels for the price.

Jun 29, 2025Not a resort for North Americans. This is listed as a 4 star resort but I would only give it 3 stars at best. In short
NO sun!!! The building blocks the sun until almost 1 pm so this is a terrible spot if you want to hand out in the sun all day. You can spend an extra $38 a day for a spot on the roof, but there are only spots for about 15 ppl or so, and there is only a little indoor pool up there. NO Chaise lounges!!! The absolute biggest problem with this resort is the way in which the chaise lounges are taken up by folks first thing in the morning and then they never come back for hours and even though the rules say you cannot leave your stuff, many people do this and even put their stuff on 2 or more chairs leaving many guest with no place to sit or lounge. Then if you are bold enough to move stuff after seeing no-one there for an hour or more, they come back and try to get in a fight about it. It is ridiculous and there is NO staff there to enforce the rules or help you out with all the abusers!! This is terrible customer service and in my book, this is the main reason I will never come back here. There are two pools - one is warm and the other is FREEZING cold. Why not heat both of them???

Jun 26, 2025Terrible experience, a nightmare!!
My family and I did NOT enjoy our stay here, we were promised something completely different, the rooms are outdated, old and dirty, really needs a lot of maintenance, broken down things including elevators. There’s 2 sides in that resort, they said we had to attend a presentation that would last 2 hours, harassed us for 5 hours, trying to convince my husband and I on buying a timeshare and said only if we became members we would be able to stay on the nicer side of the resort , which was also not all that great, my kids 8 & 2 were irritated and bored, they tried to do anything to entertain our kids while trying to convince us, when we had said we were not interested. One person after another kept approaching us trying to talk us into it, when I realized how long it had been and they had stole 5 hours of our vacation and plans with our kids for the day, thanks to hearing a guy telling them, to f*ck off and leave him the f*ck alone! He walked out with his wife. We said, ENOUGH, No!! And still wanted to make us feel as if we did something wrong by rejecting to become members. I would not recommend anyone to stay here, please don’t, you’ll be extremely disappointed.

Nice location not great experience
When we first arrived there was no electricity until 7pm, we had no a/c which is very necessary in the summer in PV, we couldn't charge our phones, it was very disappointing. We were promised some chocolate strawberries, they didn't arrive on the day they promised we had to check on them again. When they finally arrived, it was a plate with 4 strawberries! One for each of us. We went to eat at the seafood restaurant, the schedule said they were opened until 4:30pm we arrived at 4:12pm and they didn't let us in because the kitchen was too backed up, if they know this happens why don't they change the schedule so they have enough time to get orders out. We stayed 4 night and the 4 small elevators were not all working, one day one was out, the next day another, but 1 day none of them were working! We had to walk up to the 10th floor! The room service takes an hour, and the baggage carriers too I guess. We waited for 30 min at 11am because we didn't want to wait until 12pm when everyone was going to be checking out and they never arrived. Overall it's a nice location, the hotel is nice but there are a lot of little things that add up and make it very frustrating.
