Harrah's is my second home
Basic room was what we got, but it is fine. I love the location and love the size of the hotel. It is easy to wake up, go downstairs and get a nice Starbucks coffee, without walking for miles in a giant hotel. The piano bar is always fun, and you can listen to music or karaoke, while you play a machine right outside the door. I have been to Harrahs 7 times in the past 2 years, and will continue to stay!

Think twice about staying here
Google review summary 4.0 29,094 reviews 5 ★ 4 ★ 3 ★ 2 ★ 1 ★ Reviews on other travel sites Tripadvisor 4/5 · 18,471 reviews Priceline 7/10 · 2,616 reviews Trip.com I was very disappointed. Location is good but I probably will not stay here again. This hotel is great if you are literally walking into your room to sleep and walking right out, if you are staying by yourself or are VERY comfortable with your companion. It's dirty & old. I have a pic of a towel that was used to wipe some water that fell on the carpet and my husband tried to soak it up quickly. It is gross. I'm sure there are a few rooms that are nice but.... So carpet was dirty, blood on the bed sheet, vents dusty, cobb webs, no real bathroom door (see pics). And unfortunately I know this is becoming the norm but customer service was at best one star. I only gave the overall rate more than one star cause of its location, food options and one, yes one lively and sweet employee who was at the doorway by the registration desk almost everyday we were there. I wish tripadviser would let me post my pics but it has rejected them three times😕

I would stay elsewhere next time.
I am so conflicted on this hotel. It was a good location and good price. The bed was ok and the room was honestly bigger than i was expecting from reading reviews. The downside was it was my birthday and after asking for a nice view, i honestly feel the front desk staff opted to give me the worst possible view just cus I didn’t have the cash to upgrade. The house keepers also weren’t so great. They didn’t even tuck the sheets in and also they took uneaten food from our room and binned it which was quite pricey to buy. I came in from a long day looking forward to my food and it was gone. They didn’t however take our cups with old drinks which had been left for days. My vape went missing and at this point i wouldn’t be shocked if that was them too throwing it into the bin. Maybe by accident but quite carelessly.

loud music
Overall, Harrah's Las Vegas is a nice, decent hotel. Staff was friendly and co-operative and the room was good. HOWEVER, there is one tremendous drawback. There is a bar/music venue in the Carnival Court between Harrah's and the Linq Casino next door. The bar band plays at a volume that is off the charts loud. We were in an upper floor (around the 20th floor) on the north side of the hotel (away from the bar band) and the volume was too loud to sleep until after midnight. If you are on the south side (facing the bar) or a lower floor, forget it - you don't stand a chance. (It's certainly as loud in the the Linq too.) Stay elsewhere.
