May 14, 2025Best customer service of any Secrets property
We have been to the Vine many times. The reason we keep.coming back is the staff. Miguel greets us upon arrival and remembers us. He helps with cabs and recommendations. The PC concierges are great! We had Stephano this time but were remembered and greeted by Sébastien and Bruce. They checked on us often and made are stay more enjoyable. Angel around the pool provides excellent service makes sure the staff is getting drinks and checking in with us regularly. Only cons- guest having speakers around the pool. Food needs to be a little better.

May 14, 2025Perfect Couples Get Away
Just wanted to add a quick review after spending Mother's Day with hubby on our first kids-free vacation a few days at Secrets the Vine. Yes, we would come back! The vibe was perfect! laid-back, welcoming , friendly, relaxing and fun. While the red flags for rough water were out at the beach during our entire stay, if you walked up the beach a little bit to the right there was a flat sandbar that made it fun to go into the water and jump waves. The turquoise blue water is just breathtaking! The room was gorgeous, food great (especially loved the Bluewater Grill/steakhouse and catch of the day at Sea Salt Grill), and staff super friendly. Our conceirge Manuel was especially helpful. The entertainment was not elaborate shows but rather singing, dancing, DJs and bands on a small stage or lobby, which was totally fine for a couple to have a fun night. I don't know if it was the time of year we went, but we never had to wait in a line. Also instead of paying for an excursion we took a public bus and then ferry to Isla Mujeres for one day to soak up the sun in calm waters and walk around the island. Secrets the Vine is a great location for easy access with being in the hotel zone.

Rooms were nice food was great service was amazing
Nice big clean rooms, service was great drinks were awesome. The View is absolutely breathtaking. I Definitely would recommend this hotel. The staff there is very helpful night and day. The hotel is very clean. They have great restaurants to choose from.

Secrets the vine is a combination of relaxation and a bit of night life with high quality service and exceptional food.
The service from Jorge at the blue water grill was superb. Jorge has attention to detail and is very professional, he made us feel at home and the steaks were amazing. The dinner was romantic and classy at the same time. The steaks came out perfect and the beers were ice cold. I’ve been coming here for 2 years in a row because of Jorge. If you go to the blue water grill ask for Jorge, he’s the best!

Overall nice resort for
The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. Room service comes in a timely manner. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels are replenished. Pool side has dead quiet moments. Staff is great and tries to entertain guests. The preferred pool should be offered as the quiet pool. The common pool area should provide more upbeat music at times. Restaurants should provide more authentic mexican food options. Night club with DJ should start at 10pm. Wings should be an option on the late night menu. A smoking area should be provided on the grounds. The chef’s table is a must do at this resort. Best food experience hands down. Enjoyed great food prepared by Chef Isidro and Javan. Best entertainer was Aisha!!
