Ticking on the boxes at The Renaissance
Our accommodation we’re lovely. I was hesitant to book on the family side because I thought there’d be noise on the floor . However I was impressed. Clean rooms lovely atmosphere. Please try the dynamic duo on Flamingo Cove for massages . Outstanding service by Malvo and Angelique.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful private island!
Great hotel! There are two different buildings. One is for adults and the other is the family side. We stayed on the family side. Our room was spacious and worked well for our family. The best part of staying at this hotel is the private island. There is regular schedule ferry service to taxi guests back and forth from the hotel. Flamingos and iguanas roam the island. Food can be purchased to feed the animals. We enjoyed being so close to the flamingos! The beach is beautiful! We rented a cabana for one of the days and enjoyed the top notch service. The pool area was also nice. There is a restaurant in the pool area that had a nice happy hour and food. This was great since the kids just wanted to enjoy the pool and we could do that without having to change for dinner. Overall this is a great hotel. Nice and close to the airport. We would stay here again!

Great stay
We stayed at 2303 and we loved it. A beautiful view of the ocean and the pools. Loved swimming at flamingo beach on the private island. Great staff throughout and very enjoyable breakfasts on site. Rooms were kept very clean by the very friendly and attentive staff.

#BirdThugs
#BirdThugs. We stayed for our 25th wedding anniversary and enjoyed everything else except this item. The birds at Renaissance Island were extremely aggressive, landing on our and other guests' tables while we're eating and had us on edge when we paid good money to stay at Renaissance and come to the Renaissance Island. Highly recommend adding nets around eating areas like other resorts. This one item has me questioning coming back again; feel free to reach out to me to let me know once you have fixed this issue.

We generally enjoyed our stay
We went to Aruba for our honeymoon and stayed for a couple nights at the Renaissance. We generally enjoyed our stay. The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were able to accommodate an early check-in for us, which was very convenient. The location of the hotel was great for us since we could easily walk to cafés, bars, and restaurants. We also had a good time on Renaissance Island. There was a surprising amount of fish to see while snorkeling, particularly at Flamingo Beach, near the rocks at the back. There was also a bit of trash in the water, though, (like a large plastic cup that someone left behind), that we tried to clean up. In addition, the island is right next to the airport, so you will hear planes coming in and out while you are swimming or lounging. Our only complaint about this hotel is that the morning of our check-out, we were woken at 8AM by employees in the hall, drilling and painting directly on the other side of our wall. It seemed like guests could have been placed in a section of the hotel where they weren't doing work, especially for our honeymoon, or it could have waited a few hours for our check-out.
