Caesars Palace, Las Vegas - one to avoid
Centrally located we were excited about our stay in Caesars Palace. Our booking was for Julius junior suite, city view and check in on booking.com said 3pm. We arrived before check in and were told we could upgrade or come back at 4. We returned at 330 and were given an inward facing room with the wrong bed spec. We were told there was nothing they could do as none of the rooms on Julius and Colosseum towers have city views and we would have to come back between 4-6pm if we wanted the bed spec we had booked. We had booked to go out at 6 so couldn’t do that. The shower was hot the first night and tepid in the morning and ‘customer service’ told me the water temperature was fine and demonstrated how I should work the shower! We didn’t touch the mini bar, there was a note saying it would cost $75 if you move things around in it! Checking out brought an additional bill of $113 for two days. There is no avoiding this. Despite its location I wouldn’t recommend this place. Apart from the guys in left luggage who were very helpful, the service was poor and the extra charges ridiculous. I’d definitely advise looking for somewhere else nearby.

Cigarettes and the dreaded minifridge, oh my
If you love cigarette smoke, this is the place to be. Also, don't even THINK about accidentally touching anything in the mini fridge or on the top of the dresser. You WILL be charged. And if you complain, you will be charged a $75 restocking fee for them to verify you didn't take anything. The highlight of the business trip were the restaurants (Hells Kitchen, the Palms, Gordon Ramsey's Pub and Grill) and the very friendly staff at Sports Book.

Exorbitant Resort Fee
I simply can not recommend a casino with 6/5 black jack at $50 min. Couple that with a resort fee that robs you of half your money instantly. Greed is the fall of the Roman Empire. Central location is reason for 1 star, but will stay elsewhere next time.

Watch your dollars and charges if you stay here . If you open the mini bar, you'll be charged for an item.
Be careful and carefully check your bill. If you open the mini bar fridge, you will be charged for an item, and they will tell you it was bumped when you opened the fridge which is an automatic charge. I was charged and I didn't consume anything and have to wait for them to dispute the charge. Coffee is not free in the room. It is $ 23.75 if you open the coffee box. I couldn't use the coffee maker as when I moved it, a roach ran out from under it. If you check in early, there is a charge, $45.00 or $25.00 if closer to check-in time. You may be offered a room quicker if you agree to upgrade at $ 85.00 per day.

Very large hotel in a great location
The room was very big and we had a double bed each, but the room was very dark even with the lights on and we were on the side of the traffic although you couldn't really hear the noise. The bathroom was also very spacious. The hotel is very big and it took a while to find our room! The hotel has everything you need and it's in a great location and easy to walk to other hotels and bars and restaurants in the vicinity. We would stay here again :)
