Great Resort
The resort was amazing. We loved the pool area. It conveniently located to beach and within walking distance to local restaurants. We stayed before our 7 days cruise around the islands. The concierge booked us a great luau at Ka Moana. Well worth it.

Ok stay but not worth the money
This is no where near a 5 star resort. We paid a lot for an ocean front room and it really did not meet my expectations or reflect value for money. The good points: location across road from beach, lovely views from ocean front room, good beds and pillows, generally clean, nice breakfast in Longboard Club. The bad points: the hotel and rooms are old and will never feel 5 star, the price for ocean front room is not worth it, not sure if you get value from Longboard Club so probably don’t bother, pool area is very windy, staff were not overly helpful or friendly, noisy on front road, a lot of homeless people around the area. I wanted an ocean view room but it was not worth the money - choose a hotel back from beach with a view that is more modern and a less expensive room.

5 star service
This resort is top notch. The service is amazing. The poolside music was awesome. The view from the 24th floor was breathtaking. The happy hour food and drink specials were tasty. The beds are so comfortable. The amenities that the resort offers are wonderful. Please make sure to grab a breakfast pastry and beverage. Also don't forget to watch the feeding of the fish. I can't wait to visit again soon

Mostly a Great Stay
All of the amenities provided by Alohilani Resort were very good. The services that we encountered during our stay were very good. The only problem that we had was our breakfast at Ka Makani. We have eaten there many times in the past. This last dining experience was not as we expected. The food was sparse, with many pans empty and long waits before they were replenished. There werenʻt any breakfast pastries other than breads. We arrived about 9 and there werenʻt any available juices or tea. The omelet options were minimal. We were disappointed with our breakfast. The price of the breakfast definitely was not worth the price. One bright spot in our breakfast experience was our young female college student server, she tried her best to make us comfortable and satisfied. Mahalo to her 💜🌻👌

Never returned forgotten items
It was a large, nice hotel, with a pretty good location. My complaint is that due to flight complications, we had to leave in a hurry, and I accidentally left all of the clothes that I had left in the drawers of the hotel room. Despite realizing my mistake immediately, contacting the hotel multiple times, and filling out a missing items report with our exact check-out time and date, room number, and description of drawers and missing items, the hotel never got back to me, and my hundreds of dollars of clothing were never returned. I was of course willing to pay to have them shipped, and had thought it would be a pretty straightforward fix since I knew exactly what had happened, but I was pretty unimpressed that no effort was made to get them back to me.
