Great place for a vacation!
Beautiful resort. The food in the 3 restaurants I attended were good (Fishnets, Silk City and Spoon). However, the buffet (Spoon) had the best options of them all! The entertainment could be better as well as the music options at the rooftop and ground floor pool. The rooms were spotless. If you can book an XHALE stay do it the extra amenities are worth it!! VIP Bar, Separate rooftop pool, access to Silk City. The hotel club was fun. Their DJ's could use some work and it's kind of small but it got the job done. The beach is not private so you do share it with the locals who are just there enjoying themselves like you. I picked up a beer can out of the ocean which sucked but, the water was beautiful as far as the eyes could see. They do have a team that cleans the ocean in the morning which was nice to see. For

It was just ok for us, but we will not go back.
We stayed at Breathless Soul Cancun in April 2025. We upgraded to Xhale status for our stay. The check-in process includes them trying to upsell you into coming to a members breakfast, but don't worry they'll try to poach you throughout your stay. The hotel is very clean and everything is in good working operation. It is an Adults only all-inclusive, however the beach is public and we heard plenty of screaming children. The food was ok, not great but not bad. The drinks in Xhale club areas were better than the other areas. However, in the lobby bar there is a serve named Karla who was EXCEPTIONAL! The bed and pillows were comfortable, but we did not get a full nights sleep the whole trip because of be woken by others. The entertainment was ok but not as good as what we are used to from other resorts. Some people loved this resort, but it was just not one we enjoyed. Everything was just ok. We did talk to someone on management but our concerns were not handled. We will not return to this resort.

Love this resort! Amazing stay
This was our first time at Breathless Soul and all we can do is talk about wanting to come back! We came for the first part of our honeymoon and we booked a second resort for the second half to get another vibe, but had regrets about having to leave and not staying longer! The Xhale club is way worth the upgrade, ocean front view in those rooms is amazing and the access to the private rooftop infinity pool and a private lounge with top shelf drinks was so worth it. I definitely recommend spending extra on the hibachi dinner on the rooftop, such a fun experience with delicious food, great service and an amazing view. I would also do the couples massage, best massage we have ever gotten. The night life and events on property made our stay more fun but we also loved our room so much we spent a lot of time there as well. Our room views were our favorite and we definitely took advantage of the jacuzzis and Bluetooth speaker built in the room. The service was top tier here! Steve was someone who really stood out to us. But all the staff was so great and the bartenders and servers were so attentive. We loved it here so much, we actually signed up to join the vacation club for some exclusive access to more amazing resorts. We got treated like vip way before we joined the club, so it will be a bonus now getting those perks on our next trips. We will definitely be back to Breathless Soul! So thankful for our travel agents at TripGuy.com for suggesting this stay and making it the highlight of our honeymoon!

Amazing visit to Cancun
Had an amazing time. Rooms were great, food was awesome and the entertainment staff are even better. Super friendly and treated us so well. Big shout out to Rodi, David, Ernesto, Fabian, Andi and everyone else. The evening entertainment was great and so were the singers and artists that came throughout the week. If you want to enjoy a night out you could, if you want eat and hang out by the pool as well I’d recommend staying here. Has a little bit of everything for everyone.

Beautiful resort, but the beach is a major letdown
The resort itself is stunning. We stayed in a room in the non-upgraded section and still found it to be gorgeous — modern, clean, and very comfortable. The ocean view from our room was incredible, even though we were on the edge of the building and could hear some traffic noise. Just note that you won’t hear ocean waves, as the resort is situated on a calm cove. The main buffet was impressive, especially for lunch. As a pescatarian, I had plenty of great options. Dinner, however, was hit or miss. The buffet is closed in the evenings, and not all restaurants are open every night, so planning ahead is key. The seafood restaurant was definitely our favorite — our server, Ivan, was knowledgeable, energetic, and very accommodating of dietary restrictions. Unfortunately, the beach was by far the worst part of the resort experience. It was uninviting — smelly, full of seaweed, and simply not swimmable. There’s a public access point right beside the resort, so the small strip of beach often felt crowded. Compared to the west shore of Cancun, this beach is a huge disappointment. There’s a small, clear area free of seaweed, but it’s more like a shallow puddle and not inviting for a swim. The beach isn’t walkable either — one side is blocked by large boulders, and the other by a channel that connects to a nearby lagoon. The area smells strongly of sulfur, and there are warning signs about crocodiles that may cross over from the lagoon to the beach. Bottom line: if you plan to spend time at the beach, this resort isn’t the right fit. Stick to the pools, or consider a resort on a swimmable beach elsewhere in Cancun.
