The resort is super nice. The food is excellent there’s a little bit of everything for everyone. The staff remembers your name and do their best to make sure you are having a good time. West does a phenomenal job coordinating entertainment. Cassie does an amazing job with beach activities. I highly recommend this resort for a Caribbean beach vacation.

Wonderful resort in Montego Bay!
Super friendly and helpful staff, especially Shannon! Spa services were top notch, and excellent food drinks. Had an issue with Amstar honoring a promotion I received with my booking but the resort manager, Richard, was quick to get the issue resolved! Definitely felt at home there.

Incredible Experience Hands Down!
If you're looking to go to an all-inclusive that focuses on relaxation and customer satisfaction - YOU NEED TO GO HERE! I went on a trip with my work colleagues, but it was for vacation purposes - the staff is incredible, always ready to help, didn't come across a single employee that seemed like they were having a bad day. It's a comfortable setting with a no-rush mindset.

Virgins!!
This was our first visit to an all-inclusive resort, and it was way more than we expected. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone. We really enjoyed the fact that Secrets is an adult only resort, we love our children and grandchildren, but the getaway was fantastic.

Apr 16, 2025Avoid at All Costs – A Total Disappointment Masquerading as Luxury
What a let-down. This hotel had all the glossy promises of a 5-star luxury escape with gourmet dining and serene surroundings. In reality? It delivered none of it—unless you count the room, which, to be fair, was nicely appointed and the bed comfortable. But that’s where the compliments end. The food? At best, poor. At worst, completely inedible. Certainly nowhere near “gourmet” – more like canteen-style mediocrity. The cocktails were an outright insult: cloyingly sweet concoctions made with slush puppy ice and synthetic syrups. Fresh fruit was a rare sighting, except for a token appearance at breakfast. The sunbeds were old and worn out, and the pool area was nothing short of a nightmare—the noisiest I’ve ever encountered. Think screaming, shouting, foam parties (yes, actual soap suds being pumped into the pool), and a relentless barrage of loud music that made it impossible to relax. There were cringe-worthy fashion shows clearly designed to push overpriced local clothing, and there was no real escape from the chaos unless you fled to the beach—thankfully, I had noise-cancelling earbuds. This was billed as a peaceful, indulgent resort experience. Instead, we found ourselves stuck in a loud, tacky party hotel with dreadful food and undrinkable drinks. We paid an extortionate amount of money expecting a touch of Caribbean luxury and instead spent much of our time escaping to a neighbouring hotel just to find a decent meal and some tranquillity. Frankly, it was a waste of time, money, and anticipation. Do yourself a favour—book elsewhere.
