The property is dated. The dinner restaurants are located at the next door property. No air conditioning in restaurants or common areas.

The rooms are great, the pools & bars pool side along with the beach was just what we needed. The whole staff including the front desk, waiters, bell hops, bartenders along with everyone who works the always greet you with a smile & ready to help in anyway you need. Excellent food choices.

We were part of a group that were put here after a fire and power cut at Heathrow Airport meant we had to turn back to Jamaica mid flight home. So after a 2 week holiday in Jamaica, at another resort, we flew to… Jamaica and had 2 days here at Secrets. I must mention, this was all paid for and ants costs were reimbursed to us by Virgin. 2 more days back in Jamaica, what a touch? You would have thought… Not the hotels fault, but we were not feeling it. We had just done 2 weeks on an amazing beach resort with abundant tasty food. Secrets didn’t feel the same. Beach scene felt more like a man made harbour. Beds are tight together, no space or privacy. Finding a bed around the pool was pretty much impossible if you had a late breakfast. Main food hall was lacking in variety Coffee shops and shops are great bonus. We did like the cluster of restaurants all located together, looking over the bay and a mountain side. We tried the Italian, amazing food. I liked the room, my wife didn’t like it so much. Quite compact. Our WC backed up and flooded the bathroom in our short stay OK, But don’t get all the race reviews. Guess the preferred customers get a better experience, but this is a high price point without the premium package We would not stay again.

Beautiful property and great dining experiences!
This is one of the best properties we have stayed in Jamaica! The preferred club was especially nice! The property is beautiful with great dining experiences and excellent customer service! We will definitely be back!

Wedding vacation
We stayed at St John’s Secrets in Jamaica!! Can’t wait to go back!!! Did our wedding there and the wedding team was incredible!!! They put that extra effort in to make our day special!!! We met so many employees who became our besties while we were there!! Tyrone is a bartender and Kerri Ann- can’t say how much we miss you guys!!!! Best employees that felt like friends!!!! We were treated like royalty!!! We honestly can’t wait to go back!!!!
