Secrets St. James- Good vibes and fun entertainment.. we enjoyed the shows at night by the piano bar!
The entertainment at Secrets St. James is great! !The team is a lot of fun, especially poolside! Shoutout Sashy!! We enjoyed the music and vibes by the pool! There is other pools that are more quiet if you aren’t looking for music and dancing!

Everything is almost perfect, except for Nadine at the seafood restaurant.
Everything about the resort was nearly perfect—beautiful views, great amenities, and wonderful food. However, my experience was marred by one significant issue: the waitress Nadine at the seafood restaurant Oceana. Her attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional, which stood in stark contrast to the otherwise excellent service I received at the resort. She was dismissive and unhelpful, taking my unfinished drink away without asking, and forgetting my order entirely. When I tried to address the issue, she responded with arrogance and indifference, as if my concerns were of no importance. Her behavior made what should have been a pleasant dining experience feel uncomfortable and unpleasant. It's truly disappointing that such a terrible attitude from one person could overshadow the rest of the wonderful aspects of the resort. A single bad experience with a staff member can significantly impact your perception of a place, and unfortunately, Nadine’s conduct did just that. While I still enjoyed the resort overall, I hope the management will address this issue, as no guest should have to deal with such unprofessional behavior, especially when everything else is so close to perfect.

Won’t Return
We were not impressed with this all inclusive experience, compared to others that we have had. The hotel is tired and needs upgrades. Many of the staff appear unhappy. Service is very hit and miss. Food was just average. There are not enough chairs and umbrellas around the pool and they have replaced them with cabanas that you have to pay for. There is a real feeling of tiered levels at this resort. Cabana servers took our chairs and moved our items to another area. There were no signs there when we put our stuff down and went for breakfast, and by the time we came back, the sign that the loungers were reserved was there and our stuff had been moved. So obviously money talks and if you pay for a cabana you get priority service over just paying thousands of dollars for your holiday. The funny thing was, the whole day we watched and nobody rented the cabana , So those chairs were just left empty. There were lots of little things that added up to a poor impression of this hotel.

The hotel was modern however it is decorated expertly to give the traveler a warm friedly welcome. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable but the true jem at this hotel is the staff they made this a wonderful experience. I'm certainly looking forward to my next visit.

Not worth it!!
Preferred club is absolutely not worth it. Wait time to eat was way long 45+ minutes to be seated and more than an hour to get the food. Hot tub in balcony was not working. Check in process was horrible for preferred club, waited 30+ minutes to get our room. Room service was late by 30 minutes and we almost missed our excursion because of that.
