    Resort needs work and over priced

    While the hotel is in decent condition overall, it falls short of a 4-star rating and is more accurately a 2.5 to 3. The ceiling has significant damage, leading to complaints from my clients about water leaking on them during breakfast. Additionally, the overall maintenance of the hotel leaves much to be desired. One guest mentioned having to call multiple times for towels that were not provided in their room. The mattresses are also quite uncomfortable, making for a less than pleasant stay. Given these issues, I won't be booking clients at this hotel again. I believe Delta Vacation should reconsider including this property in their listings. The Hyatt collection is losing it touch. I'm have also put an request in for my customers to be refunded.

    Won't Come Back

    Two staff definitely have discrimination toward Asian, which we had received. Most staff were friendly. Elevator wasn't working, waiting long and long for every ride. Room window was leaking, water was in the floor. Window with installation pads are awful--never seen that even in a motel. It's like 2.5 star motel room not in a 4 star rating hotel. We got changed to a better condition room after. Not enough restaurants to be chosen. Only one Japanese restaurant was good. Hotel is small for a night show, no grand show and enough activities. Alcohol beverage was wateriness. Kids club is only a small room, and only allow (closed to) 2 hrs/day for kids(under 3 yrs old) stay with parents there. Very disappointed! With raining weather, nothing to do. Ocean front room is like ocean view, please don't misled on the category for hotel picking.

    Buyer Beware! Do not GO!!!!

    We were in room 903 and there was only one shower head instead of the two that was in the room last year and it barely stayed up. We complained to the preferred club and they fixed it by typing it up. The fridge was not stocked upon arrival, the toilet barely flushed, the scale did not work, missing the conditioner bottle in the shower, we were only allotted 2 towels per day and needed to call several times to get towels or grab from maid cart and there were no amenities when we arrived i.e., robes or slippers. The elevators barely worked and we had to walk up stair to the 9th floor multiple times. We were granted coupons upon arrival and were told we needed to present at time of dinner, we are unable to read Spanish and had several issues because we were unable to figure it and was never explained to us properly. I understand we are in the country but there should be items in English. However, the vacation was saved by beach attendants Gustavo, Alex, & waiter Alejandro! We were looking so forward to this vacation but were sorely disappointed by how the hotel has gone downhill since last year and do not think we will be back. I am willing to speak to anyone regarding these issues.

    Dissatisfied with service and hotel appearance

    Would not return to Dreams Sands, restaurant selection was not great, the steak restaurant host told us the restaurant was full after 10 mins when she initially told us it was completely open. Asian restaurant waiter named Luis was very rude. The hotel drips water into your food in World Cafe buffet. Not worth price paid.

    Great experience .good for kids

    Playground was amazing . Our 5yo son like it . Every morning he woke up asked to go to play ground . Girls worked there was extremely nice , everyday have new activities . Speak English perfect . Have indoor and outdoor activities .Max will miss you.
