Loved this resort! Yesema at Rosewater was awesome server. Beach service from Charlie Boy was the best! He was always there when we needed a beverage and offered to bring us pizza. We were in building 3. Food was delicious for the most part. Catch of the day was good at Rosewater, french onion soup amazing at French restaurant, and potato/carrot soup good at steak house. Our steaks were undercooked at both the french restaurant and steak house (we requested medium and they were rare). Our only issue was that my husband has mobility issues, and I requested a taller chair for our outside patio (I saw on reviews where this was requested and granted by at least one other guest). I asked on 2 different days and we never received the chair so he could not sit on the patio. If you are looking for a resort with a good beach, this is not the one for you. We couldn't even walk in the water. We were told May is the worst month for sargassum and it was terrible. There was also a red flag every day for our 5-day stay due to crocs in the water. There is construction next to building 1 and some remodeling/construction in building 3 while we were there but it wasn't enough to be bothersome.

Uncomfortable beds, view of restaurant roof versus ocean, no horseback riding as advertised, $100 to go anywhere, one restaurant at Secrets, other restaurants at adjoining hotel, Rocky dirt roads as entrance to hotel, dirty whirlpools

Nurses week in Puerto Morelos
As always secrets delivers. Staff has been absolutely wonderful. Resort is gorgeous. Well kept and clean. Good is amazing. Shout out to the entertainment staff. Especially “Spicy” Louis at the Secrets pool. Always sunny and fun. He makes the day. Also have to say the bell boys that cart the luggage are all amazing but specifically Xavier. That man is a bundle of joy. So nice to be at a resort that the staff seem to enjoy what they do. Only down side to the resort is the beach. Not great for walking as it is short. Also swimming is out as there is a large amount of seaweed everyday. But apart from that this resort is worth the visit if you want quiet and laid back.

The best of the best
Juan the pool carniege was excellent catered to every need and want couldn't have ask for better service.He made our vacation very memorable if you visit here remember to look him up you won't regret it thanks again for your impeccable service

Exceeded my expectations!
We went to the Breathless resort (adults only side) for my bachelorette party and I highly recommend it! It was really great, especially for the price. I enjoyed the food and the variety of restaurants they have and the service was overall very good with few exceptions. Particularly wanted to shout out David at the main pool for impeccable service, we rented a private area and he was extremely attentive the entire two days we did it. The resort was so clean and well kept, rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. I also really appreciated the multitude of activities that they host throughout the day so we never got bored in the 4 days we stayed. They even got us into our rooms early when we arrived which was very much appreciated!
