Highly recommend the room with its own swim up pool, beach view & butler service. Duran is amazing and took care of our every need. Highly recommend!

Pro’s Gorgeous resort If you book preferred, you have access to Breathless. It was a great change of pace with the foam parties, etc. We also found a gorgeous rooftop bar with the best bartenders. The food was excellent. Oxtails were amazing. Rooms are cozy and clean. The best part was the manager, Regina, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We requested a patron at the preferred bar, and she ensured they were fully stocked. It was always easy to find a cabana so we did not have to wake up at the crack dawn. The only opportunity would be the fire show that we paid extra for. We were under the impression that the show would be longer. In their defense, when we voiced our concerns, the staff was understanding and worked with us to find a solution.

Secrets Wild Orchid... JAMAZING
This is a very nice resort. The pool entertainment and nightly entertainment was the best I've witnessed at the many resorts I've stayed at. The food was very good. a wide variety was offered for the many different taste that stay there. The only place that required reservations was the Himitsu. Our room ( Non Preferred) was cleaned daily and the room also had great AC . No Irons are provided but they do provide a steamer. Several guests from the preferred side ventured over to the non-preferred side. Preferred was very quiet and no swim up bar. I would suggest staying at the Wild Orchid. Even though St James is attached, All the restaurants and entertainment are on the wild orchid side. The beaches in my opinion were a little disappointing. I was expecting Beaches like we had in Negril but that wasn't the case. They were small and pretty rocky. The Beach behind St James was a tad better. The fitness center was nice plenty of equipment, but it was pretty small. I would Definity stay here again

The staff there was was attentive and welcoming. We really enjoyed ourselves on our anniversary trip to Jamaica and definitely will be going back.

Some staff go above and beyond, others just want to get job done as quick as possible and this is obvious. I.e telling us we have to come early for dinner and items on the menu not available. When the restaurant is opens until 10pm. No consistency in room turn down in evening., i.e, one night slippers and mat, next night mat, no slippers next night no mat or slippers, next night mat chocolate, next night chocolate and mat. If the job is going to be done, ith has to be done properly or not at all and the same every night. On arrival observed guess receiving hot towel and drink. This was not available, to us as a group of 6. Some rooms in our party received welcome fruit bowl and drink, while others received nothing. Promoting as a luxury hotel with room rates to match, means little room for error and acknowledgement and correction to rectify should be instant firstly with acknowledgement. The housekeeping manager was excellent and moved efficiently to ensure our stay was the best it could be. However all staff need be trained in the understanding and their significance in promoting the brand they are representing. If the staff had 20% positivity and enthusiasm as Breathless breakfast staff Teresa, I would rate service as 1st class. Other staff I would like to name, Kimberly, Mr Dixon, Melanie The disappointment of initial birthday celebration on the 8th left a bitter taste, however the staff made up for the 2nd birthday celebration on the 15th. Some of the furniture at Breathless breakfast area needs to be repaired to avoid hazards. The rooms nice and large at with hot tub, however if you upgrade you can have hottub on your balcony - nice touch.
