Terrible wireless network
The resort is good. If you need to have client calls or your an influencer needing to leverage your favorite social media platform good luck. Three of my client calls crashed… BTW we are in 2025 let’s get real here. Wireless network are terrible whether outside around the pool or even inside the room. So unless that changes if you need to run a business and depend on having quality internet access you will be hugely disappointed. I even complained to the VIP club staff who basically brushed it off. The food is good. The entertainment and DJ and staff are fun and enthusiastic and pull you in. The rooms clean and modern ( nothing wrong there). The vales are happier to see you and smile all the time versus the check in and the concierge. When speaking with the front desk it feels like your bothering them. Also don't bother trying to speak to them in Spanish they will respond to you in english and it doesn't matter your level of Spanish... I don't get it. If you go there for the beach you will be dispointed at the color of the water. Would I go back that’s a huge question mark…. Many other options at the price we paid.

Amazing trip
This was our first time staying at a Breathless resort, however, our 10th time staying in Mexico. This resort was fantastic. It checked all of the boxes for my wife and our friends. First, the rooms were great. Clean, spacious and the showers were the best we've had at a resort. Second, the pools were amazing. They were clean, large and the entertainment was fantastic. We really liked the upbeat atmosphere at this resort. Different than other resorts we have stayed at. Third, the food was really good. We usually go to Mexico assuming we will get ok food, seeing that it's not the US and what we are used to, However, this resort had the best food we've come across in Mexico. It was like eating back home. All of the restraunts were great. Lastly the service was outstanding. All of the great people working at this resort are there to make your stay amazing. I had read some reviews prior to leaving for our trip that made me a little nervous. Those reviews seemed to miss the boat. Obviously, people have different opinions and view points, however, this resort is worth the stay. We would definitely go back!

An amazing vacation
I would highly recommend this resort, my group and I are already planning another trip for next year we had so much fun. My group consisted of people from 19 to 55 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The younger people enjoyed the party pool especially with their favorite bartenders Margarito. They also enjoyed all the activities and entertainment the entertainment team put on by Andres, Erik, Manny and many more. The older of the group enjoyed the hot tubs and swim up bars where they could relax and hang out with Carlos or tan and get refills from Edwin. Now the night life was amazing, there were terrific restaurants and great entertainment we always had something to do. Our favorite servers at night were Alfredo at the main bar and Pedro at picante. The food was delicious and the rooms were nice and clean. Everything was amazing I would 100% recommend.

Girls trip for 50th birthday
We had a lovely time at Breathless Riviera Cancun. Let me start off by saying the staff is what makes this resort wonderful. They were so friendly, and never had troubles finding someone to help with our drink or food orders. Be sure to try the Mexican Candy shooter, so good. The Energy pool was where we liked to spend more of our time as the the pool was heated. Xcelerate pool was freezing. You will need to go out by 7:45 am in order to secure your chair for the day. We had two queen bed swimout room. Don't waste your $$ on the swimsuit as the water was way too cold to swim in. Breakfast at the buffet was amazing, the omelette station was my favourite. We enjoyed the French, Italian, and steak house. Note that cell phone reception is poor to non exhistent, which was stressful as I am self employed and always need to be connected. the Wifi is a bit spotty as well, so if you need to still get work done, while at resort, keep that in mind. We did enjoy the spa for massages and it was lovely. All in all it was a nice girls trip away for 5 days 4 nights.

January 2025 Breathless review
Overall, the resort was good. However, if you are going for the beach and ocean then I would not. The beach- even on the off season- the seaweed still smelled bad and the beach is very small and rocky. The pools were nice with good entertainment but the pools die down about 5:00pm and the swim up bars close at 5:00 or 5:30pm which stinks.
