Best vacation!
We had the best time. Everything was perfect. Sarah, our butler went above and beyond to make our trip even better. We can’t wait to go back.

Wouldn’t recommend
I wouldn’t recommend. It’s a hit or miss with the staff and my personal experience was very problematic. You could have an awesome person like Yajaira, Fermín and Solomon or get bare minimum of a smile from others.

Skip the welcome breakfast
The hotel, itself, was a great stay. If you stay at the villas, be prepared to walk a bit to get to the adults only pool. I would also bring like your own refillable drink cup for the bars since they just quickly rinse and reuse all their cups (if you mind). Only thing I didn't like was the "welcome breakfast " to show you about becoming a member. If you say no, you might get a rude person who will try to guilt trip you into it. We had 1 lady showing us around (cool lady) and another doing numbers for us (also pretty cool) but the 3rd lady was just not taking No and being harsh and STILL called another guy after that. 3 hours spent there when we were told it would be 90 minutes. Just be aware of that. Aside from that, the stay was enjoyable. Did not have to leave the property besides going to a tour.

Our Stay..
The reason this resort is getting five stars is because of the service! I’ve been to many resorts, and the accommodations at this resort are as expected, but the service was phenomenal! My family and I stayed in the villas near the beach, which were nice with no issues. In selecting a Villa, there’s a few things that you receive: a butler, room service, and a cabana right by the beach. Our Butler, Sarah was perfect! This is the first time that we’ve had a butler on vacation, and we didn’t know that this would add so much to the experience, but it did. Sarah was very accommodating, communicative, and a great conversationalist. She literally made sure that we had everything that we needed. From dinner reservations, cabanas, service, and essentials, she took care of it all! The gentleman for room service, Carlos was also spot on! This young man spends his day carrying heavy trays upstairs. But he was by far one of the nicest people that we met during the visit. Overall, we had a great time and do recommend this resort.

Would not recommend to anyone with dietary requirements
Despite emailing ahead of our arrival, there was a rocky start to food being readily available for our daughter who has coeliac disease. She chose to have an omelette every morning which is simple enough to make gluten free, however this took between 30-60 minutes to be cooked, meaning we had finished our breakfast before hers arrived. Food in the buffet should be labelled clearly with ingredients so that guests can make an informed decision of what they are choosing to eat. The snack bar did not provide any gluten free foods at all which was disappointing. The room we booked was described as a family room, however there is no door on the bathroom and there is a glass pane from the shower into the bedroom, meaning there was a real lack of privacy which is not ideal when you have teenage children. It was difficult to get sunbeds in the morning without waking up between 6-7am. Our first day we had nowhere to sit by the main pool and were unable to go to the adult only pool as we had children. We spoke to staff who said reserving sun beds was not allowed but everyone does it and we were not allowed to move anyone’s towels, they did not appear to want to help us find a solution. Italian restraint was disappointing with a lack of choice for gluten free foods. Prime steak house was lovely, however this is one of the restaurants you have to pay extra for. The oriental and teppinyaki were lovely. Particular thanks to Alejandro who was attentive and always eager to help in the restaurants. In short, I would not recommend this hotel for any coeliacs or anyone with particular dietary requirements.
