May 15, 2025THE WORST
DON'T STAY HERE. Just don't. Service was terrible. Food was bad. Fire alarms going off at 6 am every day without warning. Total blackout at the resort our last night. No generators, no one knew why or when it would be fixed. All the restaurants went down, had to eat in the buffet in the dark with my crying toddler. I booked it under the impression that it was affiliated with Marriott and that there was much to offer, many restaurant selections and shows and that it would be great! Little did i know, that although paying a pretty price for the "ALL INCLUSIVE" resort, that WE would only get to use 1/2 of it due to having a child! We could not use all the restaurants on property or see any shows or entertainment at the other pool, OR EVEN GO ORDER A DRINK AT THE OTHER POOL WITHOUT OUR CHILD. I understand that side was supposedly "adults only" (which we didn't discover until after we arrived) HOWEVER, there was a day when I walked over alone to the bar to order a drink for my husband and I only to be chased down by a security lady like a criminal and reprimanded for being on the "ADULTS ONLY SIDE". I said, "Well its a good thing i'm an adult!" (Pointing out how ridiculous it all is.) And she said regardless, because I had a blue wristband instead of a tan one i couldn't be there, even though ITS ALL 1 PROPERTY. Not to mention the fact that all of the other guests from the adults only Hideaway side could use our side and take up all the reservations and eat at our restaurants as much as they wished. The place was seriously a disgrace to the word "hospitality", and honestly my husband and I work for huge hotel companies Disney and Hilton. So lesson learned, I will never ever recommend anyone to Royalton. Spend your money elsewhere.

May 14, 2025Disappointing to say the least
May as well start with the front desk and our check-in, the people at the front desk were unfriendly and not accommodating at all. We had asked for 2 beds in our swim out room 6 months when we booked and they couldn't give us one or even try to. The resort is beautiful and so is the beach. The service was poor all around with only a handful of pleasant and helpful workers. Most of the workers had no sense of urgency and didn't go out of their to help you. The pool bar was a joke most of the time with workers ignoring you and pretending to be busy. The lobby bar and martini bar were great as the bartenders were attentive and pleasant. The reservation system for the restaurants was a joke as it was difficult to get any help at the information desk because they were always gone or rude. One woman showed up at 2pm and put her stuff down and told me I needed to come back at 2:30 because she was going to lunch. The food was sub par in most of the locations, Zen (Japanese place) was awesome!!!! The buffet was halfway decent and a large assortment of food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. There was quite a few items that were unavailable but on menus, every time we asked for bottles of wine they didn't have anything. One of the things they do not tell you on their website is they sell all inclusive day passes for around $150 to people from cruise ships, residents of Jamaica. There was an influx of people coming to the resort the week were there and what happens they take away from the service at the bars and restaurants. They are loud, unruly and leave their trash everywhere. The jerk hut was one of the best food venues on the property it was delicious. We were all very disappointed in the way we were treated while staying there. The Marriott should be disappointed in having their name associated with this resort.

This resort is amazing especially the aquafit with kadija. She has a warm, friendly answer welcoming personality. The session was fitting for the time of the day. I had a great time with her.....I enjoyed the resort...... Good choice......

Amazing surprise 50th birthday present.
Amazing place stayed in March 2024 and booked again for 2026. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. The atmosphere was so relaxed and just what was needed to chill. The pool bar was entertaining and the staff all showed that they were there for the guests. The flight home was delayed by 24 hours and Tui were amazing in notifying us and ensuring that we did not travel to the airport and were able to stay an extra night at the resort although we had to check out and move next door to the hideaway but even that was ok.

My stay was lovely. Shout out to Jordan from the vibes team. He made our stay fun. Big up to our butlers Leo and Demar, service was excellent. My niece and nephew had a blast. The bar tenders are the swim up bar were excellent as well, Kedon and Ivan, keep doing a great job.
