    Royal in fit

I have been here at the royalton blue waters and I have had the opportunity to use the fitness facilities. It is always clean and to mention everything is here for me to get a proper workout. Shout out to Whitney and Daniel for the support they give every guest in the gym

    Great Service from Chevanese

Chevanese Bygrave was fantastic. Her service is wonderful and she has a heart of Gold… II watched her bring a child a couple of muffins from the bakery because she wanted to see the little girl smile, her family was over the moon and the little girl did indeed have a huge smile! The world needs more of Chevanese.

    Terrible

Stayed 4 days with family members and was very disappointed. Roaches were in 3 rooms. Kids pool had construction going on. No where to sit to watch kids because chairs were broken. Food was not good. Go somewhere else because Jamaica has better places to stay!!

    Very Nice Resort

Spent a week here just before Easter 2025 and had a great time. Weather was windy and cloudy 2.5 days but that’s the luck of the draw. Very hot and the sun is very strong when it’s out. Need tons of sun screen. Stayed in Room 3504 and it was absolutely ideal. Fantastic view directly facing the ocean. All staff were nice and friendly but of course some stood out. Travis on the fitness team was very engaging with a great sense of humour and did a great job with the aquatics class. Bianca was absolutely lovely in the lobby bar, going out of her way to be helpful when not even asked…just because she is observant of ALL the guests and their needs. Sheymar on the beach server brigade was a shining light, happy and smiling all the time and provided our group with great service. Casey was the best in the DC lounge. The others weren’t particularly friendly or helpful. Maidene at the beach bar was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. The maids cleaning the room all week did a great job. Scoops ice cream and coffee shop was a 10/10 and our favourite place. The Italian restaurant was great. Hunter steakhouse was very nice, generous portions of steak and cooked according to request. However, the liberal spraying of kerosene gas on the grill yielded steaks that were sadly not edible as the steaks were saturated with kerosene. The buffet food that was not cooked in front of you was not hot enough ever, and the desserts were always a disappointment. The drinks were plentiful and varied with a huge selection. In the opinion of our group the Blue Waters side was better than Hideaway > smaller, more compact and less people. Hideaway looks like a multi building high density apartment complex. Lots of great swimming for kids, water slides, lazy river, tubes etc. Not many kids were there during our week however as it wasn’t a school holiday. Not worth it to get DC in my opinion, the extra cost isn’t justified. Would definitely return.

nothing royal or pleasant about the royalton.

i’m not a huge all inclusive fan but stayed here with my son on his spring break. i am a titanium bonvoy member and the owner of a travel valet service and this is by far one of my top 3 worst stays in 25 years of vacationing. the staff and check in process was extremely unorganized, extremely chaotic. the amenities available weren’t sufficient, at noon time, they were completely out of towels on a resort that must be hosting at least 5-600 people. they have one elevator in the main building and as we were walking on, they were taking trash off. i was told that the towels won’t be laundered for another couple of hours, weren’t able to make reservations or use wifi because room wasn’t ready until 4, an hour after check in time. the food is below sub par and the drinks were a joke. i suggest strongly against booking this resort for any stay unless the only place you have ever vacationed is at the holiday inn in orlando.
