Our trip took place during the last week of September, 2024. Overall, our stay was good. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The beach is nice. In terms of entertainment, the team was fantastic. The food that was served in the restaurants was great. The portions were relatively small, though. The staff at Himitsu Restaurant, especially Benjamin and William, provided exceptional service. The only thing that ruined our great impression on the trip occurred on the final day. We were hoping to extend our stay for 5 hours, as our flight was at 10:00p.m. We were ready to pay 10 USD per hour for this service or move to the other room, however, we were not able to do any of those. Two days before the checkout, September 26th, they said "We don't know yet. It depends on availability. Please come tomorrow". On the following day, the same clerk at the reception told us the room had been booked for that weekend by other guests. So inconsiderate.

Just returned after a week vacation at Dreams Dominicus La Romana. We purchased Preferred Club and I believe it was worth it - for the beach section, drinks selection and Preffered restaurant which we really enjoyed taking our meals at. We also enjoyed the buffet although the food selection could be improved. Service was very good, everyone being helpful and friendly - exceeding our expectations. Overall we had a great vacation time at this resort and would go back in a heartbeat.

Dreams
Perfect place to stay with family for vacation. Food was great, personnel is polite and always ready to help, I would also strongly recommend Preferred Program (we paid for it, and it absolutely must :) ). We will definitely go to this resort again.

Planning to return soon!
I’d come back anytime and I’m looking forward to bringing my family back! Great surroundings, huge rooms with comfortable beds. The beach is truly amazing and very clean. Regarding food, we very much enjoyed the Buffett and the drinks at the different bars. The staff was very polite and efficient, even during peak hours. Plenty of variety and high quality items. For specialty restaurants we thought portions were a bit too small but this did not change our overall fantastic experience :)

Great experience!
The resort was fantastic, but what made the experience so much better than other places we have stayed as our butler, David. He made the entire week, relaxing for us and took care of all the we asked. From arranging reservation to anything else we needed - He is the best!
