I've stayed in better...
The hotel itself was decent but be prepared for A LOT of walking and elevator changes. Several elevators only go to certain floors so you'll have to hop off one and get on another-sometimes having to walk a little distance to get to the other elevator.Beach is very rocky and also sadly a lot of litter floating up (not really the resorts fault but still -ruined the ambiance of it all).

Very noisy!!!
I will say this is a beautiful resort with very good food and most of the employees go out of their way to ensure you have a nice stay. There is not much in the way of activities and entertainment, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't the place for you. The beds are very comfortable. We were told the renovations at the resort were complete, but they are not. The room we were given was a garden room (we were told our complimentary upgrade wasn't available, but the resort was far from being full - we're Unlimited Vacation Club members). The room faced the Dreams side, which was still under renovations, so we listened to saws and other power tools throughout the day when they worked. This wasn't too bad if you kept the doors closed. Outside of our room in the courtyard, they hosted weddings and other corporate events with music and even fireworks, which was loud. The worst part was the meeting rooms that were directly below our room were being renovated and the last night (Friday night before we left), they worked all night. I went to the front desk at 2:30 AM to complain about the noise (hammering, saws, dropping pipes, etc.) and was told they would take care of it. 2 hours later I went to the other desk and dragged the employee with me to where they were working and showed him my room directly above. He apologized and the work finally stopped. We had to be up at 8:00 to check-out and catch our ride to the airport and upon checkout they again apologized and said they have no control over when the construction takes place in the resort. They offered me an upgrade for the next time. No thanks. I had an upgrade I was supposed to receive this time and didn't get it. What makes you think I would try it again at this resort? If you are fortunate to get a room away from the noise, then this is a nice resort. The 8th floor pool and bar in the preferred area is very nice. If you are a beach person, this is not really the resort for you either. It is good if you like to watch surfers.

Great Vacation
Amazing Resort, with excellent customer service. Great food and ambience. Lots of activities and lots to do while at the resort. Felt very safe and comfortable during my 5 day stay. Would highly recommend to family and friends. Great location

Great stay at a lovely resort
Just stayed here for 5 days. The property was beautiful. I had a room on the 7th floor on the secrets side that faced the tree line. The 7th floor was very peaceful and quiet. The room was beautiful, dark wood walls and fixtures. There is a nespresso machine for coffee in the room which was amazing. The bath room was great, huge shower with a rain shower head, water pressure was amazing and plenty of hot water. Tons of closet and drawer space as well Huge shout out to Rosa in the Meszas restaurant who went above and beyond each time we dined there. She truly knows what guest service is all about. The staff was phenomenal. So helpful and friendly. My only disappointment was the beach, it was very rocky every where, I was looking forward to a lot of beach days but only went once for about an hour. The manatee’s swim up bar was my hangout for the week and the service there was impeccable. You must visit the spa and it was top notch all the way and don’t forget to do the thermal water circuit. It has a polar plunge pool that was amazing Great trip all around

Resort Wedding
The staff at the resort really did go out of their way to create a welcoming atmosphere at the resort, and there was a much wider range of restaurant options in terms of cuisine and level of dining formality. The breakfast buffet at Market Cafe was a standout. The fitness centre is better than at many hotels and was set up with enough space for weight lifting in addition to cardio, which I appreciated. The poolside staff were very attentive. We had a bit of trouble with a leaking shower, but the room itself was fine, and the staff were great about getting the housekeeping done in an unobstructive way. We went there for a wedding, and the couple had nothing but good things to say about the resort staff that helped put the wedding logistics together.
