May 14, 2025Great time at PH Cancun
We were pleasantly surprised with the resort, after seeing it on Youtube and expected it to be pretty average for an all-inclusive big name hotel. Although some things were typical of an all-inclusive resort, there was no shortage of bars or restaurants. We felt the food was good with some restaurants better than others. The buffet was very good. The service overall was very good. The bartenders would get to know you and were very friendly. We would especially like to recognize our private concierge by the name of Daniel "Itai". He helped up set up a birthday party and bought some of the decorations with his own money, he made reservations for a big group of 13, he helped us with transportation and constantly walked with us to our dinner reservations, when he was working. He was definitely the reason for the excellent review.

Dorian at Planet Hollywood Star Class
Absolutely wonderful experience! Dorian (our designated concierge) was so helpful and attentive and helped us with all our questions, needs, wants, and extras!! He helped resolve issues and made all our dinner reservations. By far the best level of service we have received at any resort!! Thanks for everything!

Upgraded when I got here the upgrade cost and an additional 1200 for 10 nights. The food is average. i have had better from 5 star resorts, and the drinks are okay. However, Pepsi from a plastic bottle isn't exactly 5 star. I would recommend Coca-Cola coming back to the site. The entertainment team was fantastic with the youngest. However, the overall entertainment was mediocre and repetitive. If you upgrade to star class, there is not much that happens at your pool. The amenities are everything is an upgrade and cost, so unless you're good at the limited pool games, you will spend another 500 easily on extras. Miguel Superman, the pool bartender, is absolutely worth his weight in gold. The pool service from this man was absolutely outstanding. The star class pool the jets did not work, and the jacuzzi did not work either, which was a real shame. If you are visiting i would recommend eating out at rosa negro it was incredible. Lastly this trip only received 4 stars because of Dorian our butler this man is a credit to the team he assisted in absoloutly everything we needed him to do even when he was not on duty. He definitely puts the 5 stars into this place! So if the managers take anything from this it's that although we had a great family holiday if it wasn't for Dorian and Miguel our trip would of been a disaster!

Star class entertainment team good with all - LAILA, I would say is the best entertainer for all kids and adults very accommodating and very happy and cheerful around the resort. Very good asset Rooms clean and tidy - maids very good Food is ok - good variety and restaurants are nice

Outstanding - You will have a blast
We booked this hotel for a Mother / Daughter trip. The hotel, beach and amenities are beautiful, food is excellent, but what stood out for me at this hotel was the service – it was outstanding. Molly and Susy, our butlers, were attentive to our every whim, checked in on us multiple times a day, arranged all our meal and facility reservations, and even found time in the day to visit us at the pool or restaurants and have a chat. They are both lovely. Serving staff at the pool - Lili, Mildret and Roger - greeted us daily and ensured we were always well hydrated and well fed - and even introduced us to some new drinks. Always just a whistle away, right Roger? Finally the entertainment staff - Danny, Benji, Brandon, Jasmine, Josue, Nando (and a few more that I don't remember the names). What a fun bunch. It didn't matter where we were or what time it was, we were greeted by someone in this group, and usually pulled into some activity or party. If we didn't know where it was, they took us there. Every team member we encountered was friendly, checking to make sure all was well, and would take time for a quick conversation. We genuinely felt welcomed by all the staff and it made it so much fun. Thank you all for making this special trip extra special.
