GREAT KIDS CLUB. KIDS DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE AGES 7, 7, 5 AND 8. They had activities planned every hour. They would go for 2 hrs every day and begged to go for more. Rose, Wendy, Alison, Cynthia, itzel, time, marry, tatima FOOD: Had no problems getting into restaurants by approaching restaurants directly. Food was food. Not great but good. Buffet had good variety. We went during busy time and there were lines in most places. We did have to wait couple times to get drinks, food etc but it wasnt bad plus we on vacation and not in hurry BEACH/OCEAN: BEAUTIFUL BEACH, POWDER SAND, TURQUOISE WATERS. IT WAS VERY WINDRY AND COLDER WHEN WE WERE THERE BUT WE STILL MANAGED TO JUMP ON WAVES DAILY. FLAG WAS RED MOST DAYS. ENTERTAINMENT: THIS IS WHERE HOTEL LACKS. THEY DONT HAVE MANY EVENING SHOWS LIKE MOST RESORTS DO. THEY DO HAVE MUSIC, DRESSED UP CHARACTERS THAT WALK AROUND AMUSE KIDS, THEY HAD MICHAEL JACKSON SHOW. GROUND: Beautiful, well taken care of. POOLS: water is cold (beginning of Dec) no heated pools. They have bunch of activities by the pools, towels available, people do play towel game. Overall we had great trip. I been to 15+ all inclusives in area and would rate this 7/10

Awesome vacation
I was in the resort with my family on the holidays I loved the beach the pool and the gym was my favourite part I love to work out even though I’m on vacation I recommend this gym it’s awesome shout out to benn he’s one of the workers at the gym he was a good guy and helpful can’t wait to come back

Dec 05, 2024Our little oasis in Cancun.
In November of 2024 my family of 4, including two kids aged 12 and 9, traveled from Canada to the Planet Hollywood resort in Cancun. Due to weather our travel was quite delayed and resulted in us arriving at around midnight on check in day. The check in process was pretty easy although it did take some time. Once checked in a nice worker helped us get our baggage to the room and told us about the resort along the way. We stayed on the family side in a swim out room. We had room 30-114 and it was great. The bushes were high enough around the swim out that people couldn't see inside our little oasis. We spent every day in this swim out, mostly because it was so difficult to secure a chair and umbrella by the main pool. Eric a waiter from the main pool even came by to serve us from our swim out, which was very handy. There was a small issue with hotel room cleanliness but once addressed it was smooth sailing from there. The resort is already showing wear and that is a bit sad considering it is only 3 years old. We were able to secure a dining reservation for all the nights that we wanted one and were able to enjoy the food at the Italian, Mexican, steakhouse and Japanese restaurants. The food at all of these restaurants was delicious and had my kids wanting to come back for more, which says a lot. While at the resort we enjoyed the lazy river multiple times, the beach, family pool, mini golf, entertainment and a cabana rental at the family pool. Lazy river, top notch, loved it. The beach was also good, the sand was nice and soft, I did however get a bunch of sand mite bites which I didn't care for. As for entertainment I found that a bit lacking, we had more fun with the music from the weddings we could hear from our room then at the actual pool. The evening entertainment was also mediocre, and the lack of seats available didn't help either. The cabana though was amazing, if I knew how great it was we would have rented it twice. It is pricey to rent but there are ways to get it discounted or free, it just takes time that we were not willing to give. At the end of the day, this was a great resort, we had a fabulous time. All the staff we dealt with were amazing and friendly. Would we go back, no probably not, and not because we didn't like it, but because we like to try other places out too. If we were invited to attend a wedding at this resort or take a trip with family or friends, we would go hands down.

The dining options were wonderful with great options. Our butlers were the highlight of our experience, always attentive and quick to fulfill any request, making us feel truly pampered. Whether it was reserving the best spots by the pool, arranging personalized surprises, or just checking in to ensure we were comfortable, their service was great. Thank you Trinidad and Pedro! Planet Hollywood Cancun is a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation, and we can’t wait to return!

Amazing vacation!
We really enjoyed our vacation at Planet Hollywood Cancun! Good food, beautiful beach with turquoise water, great service! We had an amazing experience on the FlowRider during our stay, it was absolutely fantastic! Big thanks to the instructors Edson, Joaquin, Xavier. They were not only incredibly skilled but also patient and encouraging, making the activity enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience level. .Their enthusiasm and friendly attitude made us feel at ease, turning what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into pure fun. It’s a must-do activity, and they’re the reason why! Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
