Dec 01, 2024Nice Resort Only the Buffet available with a line everyday every meal
Stayed at the Planet Hollywood resort in Cancun for Thanksgiving 11/27-12/2 and celebrated my daughter’s sweet sixteen major milestone. My family and I have stayed at many other all inclusive resorts over the years and Plant Hollywood Cancun definitely needs some revisiting on how to effectively manage a large all inclusive resort . We were celebrating my daughters sweet 16 for this particular vacation and we were quite disappointed regarding the daily food situation booking reservations for the ala carte restaurants were no existent we ended up going to the buffet daily for all meals which was not appealing. We traveled from NYC and lining up daily at the buffet reminded me of my daily commute into the city. Many of the restaurants during the evening stated they don’t take walk ins but yet the restaurants were not full. Although the resort is scenic and esthetically pleasing Unfortunately this was my first and last time staying at a Planet Hollywood resort chain not only were my expectations not met but it was quite disappointing celebrating my daughter’s sweet sixteen at a buffet restaurant.

My family and I have been here before and we decided to come back because we loved it so much, the service is amazing the staff is outstanding and engaging, I am always impressed with the food, I always came back to a clean and fresh room. I had a great time with the at all of the pools, shows, flow rider ( Edson, Joaquin, Xavier are supper cool people love hanging out with them) and the beach! Can't wait to come back again hasta luego!!!!

Excellent
Kids club was incredible! The staff are attentive and so good with the kids. Cynthia Rose Alis Xime Fati Wendy Itzel and Marey were all so sweet and made our daughter feel comfortable. She didn’t want to leave at pick up. It is very family oriented and thw staff feom the pool, beach and restaurants are top notch

Great experience
Place was really good. Staff members were really friendly specially in the.Planet play! . Jennifer,Giovanna, mafe, Ricardo and Karla are the best!!! My kids had lots of fun playing with them. Good was great and the hotel was very clean. Everyone was very helpful

Wow!
Wow amazing resort, I had an amazing experience, the room was amazing, the entertainment team is very nice, thanks Victor to make my vacations amazing! the buffet restaurant could improve the quality of the food a bit, also Ricardo, geo, Karla, Mafer and Jenni, they are very helpful and kindly, thanks Victor you guys, absolutely I’ll come back
