Family trip
This is a hotel that geos over the top on service. Food and beverages are fair, lots of room for improvement. Rooms are ok. Beach is great! But the best part was the flowride where Edson, Joaquín and Xavier made the experience unique. They are so commited to teaching with lots of patience and such nice people I must say. Big kudos to them.

This All Inclusive is just Meh…been to worse and definitely been to better.
We are here now, 2nd last night before we head home on the adult side. Now we are firm believers of your vacation is what you make of it, so overall we’ve been having a good time. Met some nice people from all over (Canada mostly). First off…the smell of the room (as stated previously) is true! I walk into the room every time and get gobsmacked by the mouldy/mildewy smell. The room/bed is constantly moist all the time. We had spoken to quite a few people about it, and something had been done for the smell. Like the room had been sprayed with some sort of pine-ish scent but lasted a day. Was told we’d get a dehumidifier but never happened. The lights in the bathroom, didn’t work for the first couple of days, except for the mirror ones. Also up until today, there was a flashing light behind one of the pictures that wouldn’t stop. It literally stopped 6 days into the stay. Soaps, cream etc stocked when necessary. Mini fridge stocked every day of whatever you had drank, 4-5 waters, two beer and two each of pop. The grounds and walkways are nicely taken care of and well lit up! Of course there are a few cats/kittens roaming around as well, as most hotels have them. Working elevators were a hit and miss. Food was/is just okay! One standout is the guacamole. OMG, it was soooo good! The adult side has Catch and Braza Grill. Braza has breakfast and dinner (meats are salty but tasty) which are both pretty good but no standout's. Catch has lunch and dinner, that again was just okay BUT here was one of the two places that we had the best service from Misael (?). The steakhouse was definitely our best meal and the other location of great service (but didn’t get his name). Definitely underwhelmed by the Mexican restaurant except for that guacamole 🤤🤤. We only did the buffet for breakfast a few days which has got lots of selection for everyone. The dinner we only did once but was okay. Gusto is open for lunch and dinner and is also pretty decent. The pizza gets a little burnt now and then but overall was tasty. Fuel for small snacks, ice cream and coffee/tea as well as Guy’s Burgers are great! Now don’t get me wrong about the service we had, the servers were all very nice but not always on the ball. Marco at the pool swim up bar is a GEM! He is such a nice person and if he doesn’t like his job, you’d never know it! Always has a smile on his face and the busier he is the happier he seems. Like a few other resorts we’ve been too, there is always someone trying to sell you something…be it excursions, bottles/cabanas or even the dreaded Timeshare without it being labelled a Timeshare. One of the best features is the cinema! Bags of popcorn and drinks are left available for our enjoyment, and there is usually something playing for everyone to watch. The pool is okay, lots of space in it. Got to get up early if you want to save yourself a good spot. The big purple beds we were told is first come, first serve except for weekends. Then it’s $150 with a bottle of booze or $100 without 🤦🏼♀️. We didn’t do the lazy river but did hear that the water was colder than the pools. The beach was okay. The sand is deep, which makes a little harder to walk thru and the red flag was up for most of the visit, so we spent more time at the pool. In the end, we are enjoying ourselves but nothing is drawing us to say we’d come back here again.

Best resort I’ve been to on the Caribbean side and then
Amazing time at this resort it was clean and well appointed excellent food amazing pools. We had a swim out room, which was incredible. iPad the kids club was a special highlight shout out to Rose, Wendy, Fatima, Cynthia, Ali’s, Ximena. Taking the best care of my kids and truly giving it a special highlight for them not only was it daytime kids club but special events like campouts next to the main entertainment space for a few hours in the evening pyjama nights over Halloween. We had an excellent costume parade with trick-or-treating a costume contest, truly a wonderful experience and a genuine effort by all of the staff to make it special
