Breathless is a beautiful resort. Butler service was great, Melloni was able to reserve a beach side cabana for us while we got ready for the beach. She also arranged our dinner reservations and airport drop off. She also set up a surprise romantic bubble bath in the evening which was nice to come back to after a day doing ATV riding and Ricks Cafe. Overall it was a great resort. Some negatives: -Hibachi dinner: had a 9pm reservation, hostess was nowhere to be found at 9pm when we showed up. About 10 min later we were finally greeted and told to wait again. Finally got to sit down at the hibachi table, only to be ignored for another 15 min. No one came to take our drink orders or offer us water. There was no direction. We waited patiently and finally left after being ignored. It was a disappointment because this is one of the 2 restaurants that you need a reservation at, and it was highly rated. We missed out on a dinner that night. I told my butler Melloni about the issue and he said she would follow up with the manager but I never got an update about it the next day. She did offer a $100 USD gift shop credit. The pool elevator does not ascend to the 5th floor where our room was. It only went up to the 3rd floor then you had to walk up stairs to the 5th floor. Super inconvenient because the main elevator was a far walk since our room was one of the last ones on the end of the building. We informed the front desk staff about it twice and it was never resolved, it was just “accepted.” Concierge sent us a fruit platter to apologize for the inconvenience.

Apr 16, 2025Amazing experience 10/10 worth it
We had a wonderful stay, the staff at all three properties went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. We had the pleasure of working with Breathless Butlers Rory and Shane and cannot recommend them enough. We spent most of our time over near the St. James pools and loved the pool bartenders Cruze and Trudy Ann. Overall 10/10 for all staff interactions, food, and the resort. We would recommend not signing up for the travel club breakfast, it was more time than expected and the free excursion voucher was not worth the heavy sales pitch as the cost was too high. We would also recommend speaking to the bell desk, or taxi service podium instead of using Amstar for excursions, while the desk staff was friendly we often needed to do the legwork of ensure events were happening and wasted a lot of time waiting to see if things were canceled due weather etc. We opted for a private tour and did not hear any tour information as our driver took personal calls and listened to music instead of engaging with us, would not reccomend. We cannot wait to head home and share about our trip.

The Staff for the Win!
I visited Breathless for my best friend’s birthday and I must say it wasn’t quite the experience I expected. Although I would consider this resort more for couples. The staff made up for it 100%! If I could mention every single person I spoke with I would. However, I’ll name drop a few! Omar grabbed our bags right away setting the vacation mood from the beginning. He was very attentive and always around incase you needed anything. Nadian was great with the help of our excursions, she made it quick and easy and answered all our questions. She even made sure we were up and on time the day of. Noble at the bar made me such delicious drinks and kept the great vibes while we hang at the swim up bar. Teresa is the hostess with the mostest lol and she was amazing with serving us and making sure we got our drinks from the bar just the way we liked them! And the most important part of everything was the entertainment!!! Stainless the DJ set the vibes! Kai was ABSOLUTELY the best!! I would come back just for her! And Quban was so sweet and kept the dances coming! I will definitely stay here again!

Apr 14, 2025Terrible Policy and Customer Service
My reservation was canceled the morning of my trip by someone who was not on my reservation. The hotel was not able to rebook me. I was at the hotel in Jamaica when I found out. I was forced to contact UVC and pay for a new reservation. I only received 10% of what I paid for my refund. They could have easily just rebooked my reservation. They saw it in the system. Unacceptable!!!

We loved our room. We thought the rooms and the pools were beautiful. We love the breakfast buffet. And the rooftop. The only thing we were very disappointed with was there was no Waitress service around the pool for a drink or food. You had to eat in the restaurant. But we found that service on the beach at secrets. Breathless was also lacking entertainment so a lot of times at night we went to secrets.
