    Girls gone wild.

    Our butlers Omar and Gilbert have been amazing!!! Valentin waiter at breakfast always remembered my Don Julio and mimosa order… Alexander on the vibe team was a vibe. Olga gave me the best deep tissue massage of my life!! Alonso waiting on my every drink need in the lobby. Loved the satin pillow cases

    The amazing butlers

    Our room was so spacious and the balcony was amazing! Our butlers Arturo and Samara were soo amazing they made sure my boyfriends birthday was so special. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and when I say our hydrotherapy was amazing I mean life changing … absolutely loved the diamond club experience!

    Great time, Great staff, Great resort.

    the resort was everything I was looking for for a kid free getaway with my wife and a few friends, we stayed in a Diamond club suite. the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was great, honestly the buffet took the cake as the food options were great for every meal. every staff member we met made it a point to make sure we were having a good time, especially our Butler Sandra. If we decide to return to Cancun without our kids again we will be returning to this resort.

    NOT A MARRIOTT. Fell off a cliff. Hov did that so hopefully you wouldn't have to go through that.

    This is my Third stay. After my first stay in October 2023 I Liked it so much I came back two months later. Thought this was one of my favorite properties at the time. Much has changed since then. Marriott Status means nothing, you are nickel and dimed at every point. The front desk lies and says they have no upgrades when I can see them available to book on the app (Third time this happened). The tequilas are bottom shelf, El jimidor and centenarrio blanco and repesado. Both bottles may be $22 max. The liquor was better last time I came. The bourbon is jim beam and the scotch is johnny Red. Barely Drank because of the selection. Me not being drunk helped me be clear minded while evaluating the resort. The nightclub on the 3rd floor at taboo did not happen any of the days I was there. After about 10pm it was nothing to do. Pool closed at 7pm. Food options late were room service, which I ordered last night and it never arrived. The first person I met , I asked about the food. She replied that she's been hungry for 3 days straight. I couldn't believe that because I loved the food in my previous trips. I found out the hard was, the food has also regressed. The menus have been downgraded and they went cheap on everything. The filet Mignon at Hunters was a random piece of grey meat. The restaurants all clam to be fully booked, but when I looked in it was completely empty. I mentioned this to another Marriott member and she said they only let non-diamond club members book reservations at restaurants in limited terrible times so you will upgrade to diamond club. This was my first visit not doing Diamond Club, which I did not see the value in since my Marriott status got me all of the benefits other than a Butler. Marriott Elites get a second wristband. In my previous stay the wristband got you access to the diamond pool bar. This trip I was told the band no longer does. I asked the front desk what the band gets you and he said it gives you NOTHING, it's just to show us recognition. Later I feel it shows the staff recognition to harass you into a timeshare presentation style meeting. I was constantly approached and asked to switch from Marriott to their loyalty program. I can't believe this was my experience after two fantastic trips. The TV's don't even have streaming. They charge you to watch movies like 90's on demand. They don't have plugs next to the bed. The only good thing was the crowd. IT was like spring break for real adults with careers. Buffet dinner was inedible. The breakfast was ok enough for me to force something down to live. Please don't do a long stay here if you don't want to leave the property for food. A lot of people think all-inclusives suck, and I probably did too until I found this property. Sadly it has regressed to fit into that category. NOT A MARRIOTT, HORRIBLE FOOD, ELEVATORS TAKE FOREVER, BORING AT NIGHT, UP SELL , UP SELL, UP SELL.

    Live in 2025: Cancun and Friends!

    During my January stay at Royalton Cancun (January 2025), I had the pleasure of having Samara and Arturo as our butlers, and I couldn’t have asked for better service! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to every detail of our stay. Whether it was arranging special activities, providing thoughtful recommendations, or ensuring we had everything we needed, Arturo and Samara went above and beyond. The personalized touches truly made our experience unforgettable. The outstanding professionalism, warmth, and dedication made our stay exceptional. Highly recommend!! We would also like to highlight a few other names to our review: Gustavo (Diamond Club beach attendant), Christian (Diamond Club bartender), Gilbert (butler), Dulce (Diamond Club beach waitress), Samuel, and Carlos.
