The Diamond Club did not add anything additional service to the regular services. The room was just a regular room with the floor of the shower stall defective built, and, after showering, water remained on the floor because the drain was about 1/2 inch higher than half of the shower floor and that water stayed there until the maid came and removed it. The balcony sliding door is broken and very heavy to close and open it, especially from the balcony side. Nobody came by to fix it after this defect was reported upon checking in to the room. Shout out to the butler and concierge, Junior and Joel, who were nice and tried their best to assist in addressing our needs. Overall, the upgraded services appeared to be worse than those provided over the regular Royalton side. We were at Hideway and Perferred, Royal Sevices at other resorts and found that the Royalton Flash offerings are far inferior and not comparable in services and food quality. We can not recommend staying at Royalton Flash over regular Royalton.

Jun 30, 2025Wonderful retreat to the DR at the Royalton Punta Cana! Highly recommend!
We took our son and four of his friends to the Royalton Punta Cana to celebrate their graduation from high school. Narciso Green was our assigned Butler and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Narciso ensured we had all of our dinners lined up and also made sure our spa treatments and Bali beds by the beach and pool were set up. Great experience! Thank you!

Just a barely O.K.
Our experience was just o.k. The food at the buffet was not very good. The Hunter Steakhouse, Dorado, Grazie and Zen were very good, though. Juan, the bartender at the Hideaway pool was wonderful. He was the best part of our trip. We paid extra for Diamond Club, but the rooms weren't anything special. There were several ants in our room and the towels were like sandpaper. Our butler, Lennie was not good. The only thing he did was get restaurant reservations. He messed up a shopping trip for us by sending us with the wrong transportation to the wrong place. We saw other butlers that came around to the pool and checked on their guests. We had to chase him down and follow up with him to even get the reservations. Most of the staff was very nice, but there were several that clearly didn't like having to interact at all. Communication about the lay out of the resort and the how to navigate around the resort was very lacking. We've stayed at a lot of all inclusive resorts. This one was very frustrating and disappointing, especially since we paid extra for Diamond Club. I would not recommend this resort to friends.

First family all inclusive vacation for 7 days.
The people that work at Royalton are amazing! Denis our butler took care of us completely. Very kind and attentive! Juan and Rudy (bartenders) at the Hideaway pool Bar along with Martha and Joesmerlyn are top notch!!

Excursions through Royalton
Benjamin Gonzalez Ovalles from Nexus tours/Royalton Excursions was the best! He was helped us book all our excursions, made sure our transportation to/from airport was managed and always checked in to make sure everything was going according to plan. Benjamin made our trip easy, even with 29 people everything went smoothly. Better than we could ever imagine!
