SPRING BREAK POLICY - IBEROSTAR HOTELS AND RESORTS a family oriented environment and thus has implemented the following policy for Spring Breakers reservations.The valid period is March 1st, 2021 to April 30th, 2021. Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. - One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required
 per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. - In the event that any guest(s) engaging in inappropriate behavior, disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s)

In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:

  • All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
  • In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

    Ocean front with butler service

    Great experience at this hotel! We got the ocean front room with butler service and had two fantastic butlers -Kadeen and Ralston. They went all out to ensure my mother was comfortable and felt cared for. I appreciate them making this a very special vacation for her! Our room was beautiful and well maintained. The cleaning staff did a great job. Our best restaurant experience was the Jamaican restaurant where Karen made us feel like family! My only negative was the vendors on the beach offering to sell us drugs. They were not worried about the security guards who walked right past them. I can do without the smell of marijuana on the beach. I definitely recommend getting the butler service and I’m looking forward to returning soon. I’ll be back!

    What happened to the luxury?

    I travel frequently to this resort and have always left wanting to return. I can't say that for this trip. It is definitely not the luxury I have come to expect. Saying that, it should be noted that the hotel is going through "rebranding" so things are not being fixed and maintained because of this. I am writing this to let new visitors know what you are experiencing is not the norm for this facility. The beach is amazing and in it's natural state. No man made beach here! The views are stunning and staff do what they can to be of help. Please tip well, drove me crazy to see folks tipping a dollar!! If you knew the cost of living here, and the type of travel staff need to use just to get to work, you would feel more gracious with your tips. Shout out to the lobby bar staff, the butlers (Omar/Valentine/Alex), and the folks in Guest services. I will return after the rebranding for sure.

    Why aren't you called Iberostar Grand any longer!!!!

    Okay so Iberostar Grand Rosé hall is no longer it's now JOAI Rose hall by Iberostar!!! JOAI means joy Why Why Why Iberostar Grand actually made this resort special with it's special touches and the class of guests. Gone as the 24 HR main lobby bar its beautiful self service sandwiches and patisseries bar. Gone as it's fantastic nightly entertainment in the theater... charges for some shows. Having a DJ and disco in the main lobby. Cornwall buffet not open in the evenings for dinner. No reservation policy for dinner. reduced breakfast buffet. No ackee - saltfish for breakfast daily no fried plantains no green bananas dumplings etc Beach shack is horrible now port Maria Jamaican restaurant not open for dinner. weekly lunch Beach BBQ with full bar and tablecloth and chairs gone!!! Full room mini bar with premium spirits..... OMG so disappointed when we arrived back in August we haven't been able to get back since covid but thought we'd come celebrate my milestone birthday and Jamaica independence. Love the robes and beach like slippers in the room minimal toiletries thank goodness you still offer room service !! Sorry but you've lost your sparkle and sence of grandure. I'm lost for words this used to be our best resort in Jamaica we would come back time after time since 2011 we'd always highly recommend this resort can't do that anymore. We had a nice time but not a great time as we normally do Some of the staff remember us and some aren't happy with the changes but afraid to tell management that's a issue!! Some of the newer staff are just rude and need customer service training or just not be there. I don't think we'll be coming back to JOAI Rose Hall need to find new luxury elsewhere in Jamaica 💔

    Iberostar Rose Hall is A+++- Karen is an awesome waitress

    3rd time at Iberostar rose hall and will continue to come back for the excellent service and food. The rooms are SO clean and their service from housekeeping to dinner to late night room service is undeniably 5 ⭐️ - also the most kind and appreciative staff on the island!!!!! Specifically mentioning Karen at the port Maria restaurant; she made our dinner the most romantic one of the week. TIP YOUR SERVERS!!! They make a low wage and depend on it!!!!!!!!!!!

    Home away from home

    Been going to Iberostar Grand since 2013. The biggest reason we keep going back is simple - the people/staff. Jerry, Travis and Gary keeping us hydrated. Lamar keeping watch over the pool. Lisa & Stephen keeping me humble in Cornhole and everyone else. Appreciate them all and will see them again soon
