Calisa by the pool bar was great and all the bartenders were fantastic Marcus, zani,jahvaughn chantel, ivon and berry by the lobby

Pool bar was the best
Pool bar blue waters is the best my batenders calisa,marcus,javaughn,Chantal and ivon made our trip amazing we will definitely be back

Wel it started when i tried to change the reservation. We lost our deposit of one nights stay and when we decided stay with my other daughter they charged us the full prices . No one told us that the new price would be so expensive. The management did not make any concessions. This is my fifth time in Jamaica and I never had any management be so restricted. There were roaches in our room. We went to the Italian restaurant for dinner. We were seated outside and were attacked by mosquitoes. On our check out day, we’re not able to order room service and no one answered the phone. The food was mediocre. The best thing was the service. The Butler, waiters and housekeepers were excellent. I will NEVER go back to this “resort” again!

Overall our satay was great. The resort is small and very close to the beach. Room was nice and clean. Staff in general was very pleasant and happy to be there and wait on us. Food at the buffet was just ok. Very limited choices. The pastries and bread seemd always dry and old. Restaurants were fine. It was somewhat difficult to make a reservation at the Zen but we made it. The food was great but the dinner was very loud. There was singing and banging through out the entire dinner, so brace yourself. What disappointed me the most was the fact that bar staff pours different alcohol in to the original bottles. For example Jack Daniel's bottle doesn't contain JD. How I know? I personally saw them doing that. Before I saw it I thought that maybe I'm exaggerating or my taste is off or whatever, until I saw it. I don't appreciate to be given some other whiskey or whatever alcohol if I asked for a specific one. I would be ok if they said that they don't have it and offer me something else. Instead they just poor whatever from the original bottles and serve it as such. Also mosquitoes are a problem. I understand that were are at a tropical island and you can't avoid them eentirely, however we've been to 3 different Royalton properties and multiple other resorts mostly in DR and mosquitoes weren't an issue. Not a big deal for most but bring a bug spray. The entertainment staff was fun and very pleasant. This wasn't our favorite Royalton resort but we still had a fantastic time.

Amazing staff member
Chevanese Bygrave is by far the best server around the pool. Anything you need she is there - she knows exactly what you need and when you need it. She is a credit to this hotel and to her profession. She is amazing!
