The worst event planning team. Not good for private events.
After having to help the wedding planner to set up for my cousins wedding and asking her if she needed any help. She said she was all set and ended up breaking the crystal vases I rented and the hotel washed their hands and didn’t repay them. I had to pay $14,500 pesos for the broken items and they just said the wind knocked them over and therefore it’s not their fault. Even though the hotel was pleasant. The event staff was not professional at all.

Birthday Ruined
I booked a trip for 7 days to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived at the resort, we were incredibly pleased. The ambiance and the people were great. I felt as if I made the best decision as it relates to the choosing of the resort. However, that was short lived. I arrived 10/21/2024 (the day before my birthday. When we arrived at our room there was a happy birthday banner on the door, which I thought was genuinely nice. But every time we would leave the room and return the banner would be torn down. I just figured that it was a defective banner. The next day (my birthday) the staff came to the room and secured the banner in a manner that it would not fall off again. We went to dinner then returned afterwards to change my shoes. To my surprise the banner is ripped down laying on the ground. As soon as we entered our room (the room was an adjoining room) the guy next door started kicking on the adjoining door yelling racial slurs (the N word) as well as obscenities calling us witches but with a B. I was so afraid, so I called security twice to come help us because the actions of the guy next door were becoming increasingly aggressive. When security arrived, they knocked on his door(as we already explained the situation to them) to get his side of the story. He then explained to security that he didn't know what was going on because he was sleeping. I explained to security how that was not the case, and he was not being honest. I said you were just yelling loudly and kicking on the door so aggressively calling us the N word and witches but with a B. The guy then says that he was sorry for the name calling. Security escorted the man in his room and closed the door. We went to the lobby to speak with a manager only to find out that there wasn't a manager on duty at the moment. So, we decided to stay in the lobby to collect ourselves because we were scared and confused as to why the ordeal took place. While sitting in the lobby we observed the security guards escorting the guy and his girlfriend out of the resort. I didn't get any sleep that night scared if something like that was going to happen again. The next morning, we went to the lobby to speak with management regarding the incident that took place. I explained the incident to the management team and informed them that I did not feel safe and that I was scared. They apologized and informed me that they were going to move us to another room and asked if I would fill out an incident report. Although I appreciated the actions that the management team took, that incident was traumatic and ruined my trip. My anxiety was through the roof. I was constantly looking over my shoulders wondering was every guy that seemed to look like him asking myself was that him. As well as being anxious every time I heard a loud noise thinking someone was trying to kick down the door.

Must ask for ADA as your butler
Everything about this hotel and holiday was amazing 🤩 our room and view was awesome 🤩 the food was fantastic, staff were helpful and very friendly. I loved that everyone said welcome home !!! Highly recommend the spa. Swim-up bar was top notch, beach amazing also, no rocks or seaweed. If you go preferred I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you ask for ADA as your butler. She organised a fantastic surprise for my partner and I for our anniversary. Her warmth and kindness along with her daily WhatsApp and visits to make sure you are ok and happy with everything are the whole reason we are looking to book again for next year. I WILL BE RETURNING and I will ask for ADA again as our butler for sure X Ada I hope you enjoyed your few days off and took your daughter for her ice cream … ❤️ sending love and hugs and I will SEE YOU SOON 😘😘😘

Perfect 20 year Anniversary
We stayed here for our 20 year anniversary the first week in June while it was still a Hilton. Though the name is changed the people are still the same and they are big reason our trip was amazing. We are Hilton Diamond member and did receive the Enclave upgrade at check-in. Upon check in we were assigned a Host, Michael. We did not pay for a butler but Michael seemed to do everything I would need of a butler. He made 2 reservations for us for Hibachi and Sushi as well as secured a late check out on the last day for 1:30 since our plane didn't leave until 5. He was fantastic and spoke to us often when we would see him around the resort. We did enjoy the enclave upgrade and utilized the Adult Lounge every night. Alexandriana was great and made the best drink. Most mornings at the adult buffet we would see Bianca and she was the most cheerful person in the resort. We loved seeing her each day. She should be in the lobby greeting people or more visible than hidden away at the buffet. The beach and pools are nothing short of Amazing. The room was clean and sufficient. Our shower did leak like crazy but our towels were always replenished (2x a day) so it was fine. The food was not amazing but it was good. If you don't like what you order then order something else. Some of my favorite were lunches on the beach (Poke Bowls and Paella) but they go fast so you better be in line at 1:00 when the start. The beach grill is also really good...burgers, nachos, and tacos. At most restaurants the food was prepared so quickly and we never waited for a table. Our least favorite was the Italian restaurant and I would skip it if I had to do over. The biggest complaint was the desserts. They were disappointing. The resort felt less than half full. One building on the family side was closed for renovations but the adult side also was not crowded at all either. I have read complaints of the humidity but had no issues. It does take a little longer for clothes to dry but we kept our AC turned low and we were on the first floor which I think helped. Our room was very comfortable. We did not do any excursions but did have a couples massage and it was great. Don't pay full price... they came around the beach offering promotions. We received 20% off. Even with a few critiques this resort is amazing and we had a wonderful time. Every part from the beach to the lobby are beautiful, well manicured and so clean. Even the lobby restrooms are beautiful. I would love to return but hate that it is not Hilton any longer.
