Dreams Onyx is the place to be! So relaxing and the service is incredible. We enjoyed every second and the staff made us feel welcomed and at the utmost priority. We hope to visit again soon!

10/10 Recommend!!
This was our second time at the resort. I went for the first time three years ago with my parents, brother, and grandparents. We loved the resort so much that we chose to go back to the resort again this summer with my uncle and his family of 6 to celebrate many major millstones like graduations and anniversaries! We chose to come back to the same resort as before because of all the activities it offers. We love the waterpark pool with all the slides and fun music. But we also love the other pool with all the activities and entertainment staff! Another major reason was the extensive food options. Dreams Onxy is one of the only resorts we have been to that has a buffet open for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner! We also absolutely love their restaurant Spice, a Japanese hibachi place, and make reservations to eat there multiple times during our trips! 10/10 recommend!!

Jul 13, 2025What a horrible experience
This is our second visit to this resort and we are very disappointed. They say you shouldn't go back and this is a clear example of why. We are staying in room 5240 and don't go home until the 19th July and I have to say I'm dreading the next 5 days. Sine our last visit it is safe to say the attention to detail and assured customer experience has gone. It is all about the preferred guest. On a positive note all communal and pool areas are very clean and the ice machines in the corridors are a great addition. The concierge team ask every day and night about concerns in the restaurants but just smile and do nothing about it. Waiting for drinks wherever you are is the norm, often we have finished our meal before the drinks we have ordered have arrived apart from the water at the table. It is very difficult to get into the restaurants unless you are prepared to go out at 5.30pm otherwise a 1 hour+ wait to eat with limited seating in the waiting area. We have had a terrible experience with the maids in the room. For example on 11.07.25 Beds made but no clean towels left, had to ring reception who delivered clean towels. On 12.07.25 we left room at 10.00am, returned at 6.00pm and room had not been cleaned at all. Spoke to reception and they advised someone would attend to clean, five minutes later, maid arrived with clean towels and I asked if she was cleaning the room, she said no. I rang reception again and 15 minutes later she came back to clean the room,you could see she was annoyed.. No hand towels left or floor towel for shower on this occasion. Following this issue I had a call from concierge Rose regarding this, she apologised and asked if she could do anything by way of apology and I asked if she could book us in a restaurant for the 13th. I asked for the steakhouse and she agreed to book for 7.00pm for 2 of us. I went to check with concierge in the morning of 13th and was told they dont reserve tables, explained and the male concierge said he would ring on WhatsApp to confirm. I have messaged today and no response. Just another example that they don't value my custom. At the pool today 13.7.25 I asked Ismael the waiter walking past for a drink and was told no hes getting drinks for preferred guests. I went to the pizza van at 2.00pm today to order a pizza and was told to come back tomorrow. Honestly if I could go home, I would.

Most memorable vacation ever.
I had the pleasure to spend time with the greatest group of entertainers in Punta Cana to include Francisco, Angel, Christopher, Shadow, Denise and Veronica. A truly amazing time that grants a return to the resort.

DREAMX ONYX AMAZING TIME
This resort was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and spoke more English than other resorts I have been to in the past. The buffet for breakfast was good with fresh food daily. I recommend trying all the restaurants there especially SPICE! I am not one to visit the same resort twice, but I would go back here again in a heartbeat. We had the entire family with us Gma, gpa aunts my kids (6month and 3 years old) there was not a lack of activity, and the kids loved the pools. The only negative was the sargum grass that was all over the island so nothing the hotel could do. Beach was still clean and lots of chairs to sit.
