Jan 14, 2025Great vacation, great resort, great value !
We just returned from this resort and highly suggest that you meet Javier (concierge), Nelly at the preferred pool, Yazmin at the coffee shop and Edwin at the front/shuttle. These 4 staff members went above and beyond and treated us like family and royalty. The grounds are very well kept as well as the buildings which were being taken care of continuously. The rooms are very clean and the waterpark area was a fun plus.

Would definitely visit again
We had a great time at Dreams Onyx. This was our third time traveling to the DR and our best. We upgraded to Preferred and couldn’t have been happier. We received excellent service from our butler, Elias. He was great from the time we checked in until our departure. He checked in with us each day, answered all our questions and got us whatever we needed. The rooms were nice, clean and had everything we needed. Our room location was great, close to the Adult Preferred pool. We had a great time with the bartenders Jean and Alejandro at the preferred swim up bar, the drinks were awesome and they treated us like family. Even the drink service in the beach was great. Food was good, there was a good variety for all meals. Wait staff were all very pleasant. Would definitely visit this resort again!

EXCELLENT Customer Service!
My review at Dreams Onyx is based on the service my family received every evening we attended the entertaining shows at the resort (all of which were excellent and we greatly enjoyed). One of our favorite staff members was Yeremy, a waitress who provided excellent service to my family during each of the hotel shows. Not only did she go above and beyond to bring our order in a timely manner, she has such a welcoming and kind demeanor that truly makes you feel at home. She did everything she could to ensure that all of our family was seated together, and that we had our drinks in a timely manner. It is because of staff members like her that we would visit Dreams Onyx again! She is a wonderful asset to your organization and in the opinion of my family, she deserves a bonus and/or a raise for her excellent service! She would make an EXCELLENT concierge!

Punts Cana Fun
We stayed Jan 5-11 2025. This is one of our best vacations. There were 13 in our group. All but 2 rooms had preferred. One upgraded to the preferred services at check in. I wasn’t sure it would be worth it but it def was. We had Nelson as our butler and he was no short of Amazing. He would text every morning to see if we needed anything, also make our dinner arrangements every night which was great because there were so many of us. He would meet us in the prelude bar and walk us to the restaurant every night. I can’t speak highly enough about him. If you can request him to be your butler. Food was pretty good, typical all inclusive. Burger bar and taco truck were great. Drinks were ok, some better than others. Alejandro and Nellie in the adults only preferred bar were the absolute best! The Strawberry mojito was my favorite drink! It was hard to get pool chairs at the pools unless you got there very early. Main pool activities were fun. We went to Breathless for the entertainment, it was really fun. The Neon party was AMAZING! Casino was small but fun. The beach was beautiful. There are waves though and they can be rough. Some in our party did the Boogie boards and they loved it. Lots of chairs and shade at the beach. We did a private boat cruise with Sun Pro and it was the highlight of our trip. Snorkeling was awesome out there, lots of fish. They were so entertaining! 10/10. Rooms were clean and well stocked everyday. All of our group had an amazing time.

Amazing Stay
Great vacation! Zoro, our butler, went above and beyond to make sure our group of 13 had everything we needed all week long. Inoel also took great care of our group at the cabana on the beach. The staff at this resort makes it stand out above the rest! Waterpark is a nice feature as well.
