Traveled here for a wedding. Friendly and helpful staff. I also like that the resort is fairly compact, so it’s very easy to get around and to get to the beach. There’s also a dolphin area, which was fun to watch as the dolphins did tricks! Having access to Secrets, the adult only side, was also a plus. The food is absolutely mediocre. Everything tasted frozen and as though it was just heated up. Nothing was fresh. The best thing I ate was an ice cream cone. Overly sweet, watered down drinks and primarily bottom shelf liquor. We also had some cleanliness issues. Our bedding was stained (looked as though stains had not come out of the wash), but the staff was quick to change it when we called for housekeeping. I also noticed small stains on several towels. The robes were old and frayed, so we did not use those. Upon check-in, there was a wad of hair on the shower wall. I’m pretty particular about the cleanliness of my room. I don’t want to see hair or stains anywhere, so this was disappointing. We paid for a pool view, and our room overlooked a kiddie water park area, which felt like we got scammed. Overall, I would not return, but I appreciate the friendly staff!

Highly recommend this resort! Rooms were cleaned immaculately daily, towels always restocked, mini bar always restocked, staff was attentive and spoke great English. Excursion staff were fabulous all around from hotel staff to transport to tour operators.

Best stay ever!
We are still at the resort and my family and I enjoyed the last 4 days, 2 more to go! We are here for my birthday and I get to enjoy every bit of it. This is our first time and it did not disappoint. Everyone is so helpful and made our stay so comfy. Jacky was one of the best!!! She made our stay more fun with all the activities prepared! Erik always check on us and made sure that we are always taken care off! All and all, our stay was the best! Thanks to all the crew!

GREAT BAR AND RESTAURANT SERVICE - THE REST? MEH...
Outstanding service in bars and restaurants. Housekeeping was poor and sadly the rooms smell of mildew - which is due to the humid weather, but still... If you're planning a wedding -- good luck. The wedding planner was invisible -- it rained and the chairs were wet, we were told to sit anyway. Then it rained again, no umbrellas. When we ran to the tent we were asked to leave since they were not finished setting up. By now, everyone in their fancy clothes was wet. After the wedding finally took place, we waited inside the tent because they had to bring in the chairs from outside -- and they were still wet. Probably should have gone to the wedding in bathing suits!

I can’t wait to come back to Dreams.
My stay at Dreams Resort in Cancun was nothing short of incredible. The staff was truly the gem of the entire experience—so warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was amazing, with a stunning view and everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The amenities were top-notch, and the variety of food options kept us delighted throughout the trip. I couldn’t have asked for a better vacation—everything exceeded my expectations!
