magical stay and resort
This isn't the first time i stayed at the art of animation hotel. Although the bus lines are long and depending on the location of your room, the walk might be a bit longer to your room, it is all worth it due to the magic you feel while walking through. Those long walks are filled with amazing, beautiful details from my favorite disney movies and each time i walk through, i find a new detail i hadnt seen before. The convience of the skyliner is definitely a perk that I love. I've stayed before it was added and after and I've got to say that it is definitely something to take advantage of! It may not be their higher class hotels, but it is definitely just as magical.

Nice hotel with great pool areas
Rooms are quite small but clean. The resort has more pool areas so there is a pool close to every building. The cafeteria food is okay. Transportation to the Disney Parks is via bus or skyline. The staff is very helpful and polite. Great accommodation when visiting WDW.

Great for over the top theming
If you love to be completly immersed in the Disney Bubble and theming than there is no better resort. The campy design is not for everyone, but for families I think this is a perfect place to stay. The ease of using the skyliner on property for transportation to Epcot, Hollywood Stuidos and other resorts makes travel on Walt Disney World property simple. I loved staying in a family suite and think that the versatility of the pull out couch and pull down bed from the table and chairs is perfect to have space for dining/relaxing as well as fitting a family of 6 easily into a room together. The main pool is a bit chaotic (but i found the two smaller pools to be a much more enjoyable place to spend time and relax), It also felt that with the size of the resort compared to the cramped quick service dining hall too busy/difficult to manage. Otherwise this is such a great resort to enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation!

Fun family getaway
This is our second time to Disney. We booked this somewhat last minute and decided to stay at Art of Animation as the cost was more favorable than other Disney properties and it still had skyliner access which we loved. We stayed in the little mermaid section for 4 nights and did 3 park days. Our room was small but clean and so cutely decorated and themed. It wasn’t a terrible walk to the animation hall. We did the pools in our area and the Nemo section and we loved both. Food hall had good options I felt. Gift shop was good. Arcade looked cool, although we didn’t do it. Now to the skyliner access: plan for about an hour to get to the parks doing that at minimum as you have to wait in a fairly long line to get on and you’re sharing the skyliner with neighboring Pop Century. We had previously stayed at Caribbean Beach and hadn’t experienced those waits previously so that to us was the downside but it’s not that big a deal. The week of Labor Day is a good time to go crowd wise but I won’t lie…the heat is no joke so prepare! We’d definitely stay here again and enjoyed our stay

disney art of animation resort
Beautiful resort with a theme focused on Disney animation. Great pools, accessible to the park by the sky liner. Their animation hall is gorgeous and features a number of animation drawings from many timeless and famous Disney animations.
