We just got back from Impression Island Mujeres and could not have been more blown away by how great this place was. Every view, every facility, every meal was 5/5 stars. The service was incredible. Zelma, David, Guelman just to name a few were all so kind and helpful. We could not recommended this resort enough and hope to come back soon. It is both hilarious and mind blowing that there are people that wouldn’t rate this place 5/5 stars, and frankly they aren’t people I would ever want to talk to. This place is paradise!!

Perfect romantic getaway - amazing food and views
We stayed at Impression for 4 days as a romantic getaway and the entire experience was incredible! It starts with the semi-private Catamaran hotel transfer from Cancun which was incredibly beautiful. When we arrived at the resort, we were greeted with drinks and met our buttler who was so helpful the entire stay. The hotel is really as beautiful as in all the photos (or better in person)! But what's even better is that even though it was at 70% capacity, it felt empty to us! We never had to reserve lounge chairs, had to wait for a table or a drink. Because the hotel has a beach level, the main pool which is 3 levels, and the rooftop pool, guests are more dispersed which makes it a very quiet and peaceful getaway! Food-wise: we loved the Mexican cuisine at Mercado (although all restaurants were great) and the 24/7 coffee shop. Finding good and strong coffee in Mexico can be tricky but the coffee shop here was amazing! We were there 4 times per day! Staff-wise: the staff has been incredible! We were treated so well throughout our stay and our buttler was so helpful! A special thanks to the pool staff for always putting away our shoes, helping us with towels, and being super attentive in general. Also thank you to the coffee shop staff! You made our day - every day! Overall, this was one of our favorite romantic getaways. It's so easy to get to and feels like you're on a different planet.

Sunsets, Serenity and Seclusion: Your Secret Getaway to Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets
Located on the southern tip of Isla Muejeres, this adult-only, all-inclusive resort is ideal for honeymoon and baby moon getaways. The resort is on an island and is only accessible by private boat or yacht. After flying into Cancun International Airport, guests ride in a comfortable car service to a small harbor. Impression Isla Mujeres has an exclusive small beach club palapa for guests to wait in comfort with a glass of bubbly or wine and snacks, before boarding a private luxury catamaran to Isla Mujeres. The 45-minute sailing along the Caribbean Sea showcases various brilliant blue hues. Arriving at the resort's dock, uniformed staff members greet guests warmly welcome upon their arrivals. Behind them is a dazzling 125-suites resort offering multiple culinary opportunities, four different swimming pools and architecturally striking spaces that are Instagram worthy. This property has earned 'The Most Instagrammable Hotel In The World' by Luxury Travel Advisor. Constructed on a pre-existing cliff-top structure that had been abandoned, Mexican architect Andrés Cajiga (ALIA Made in Architecture) and the owners didn’t demolish the structure. Instead the team had the foresight to reuse, improve and embrace the space, design and surrounding grounds. This not only improved sustainability in the build-out, but also minimized the marine transport impact. Walking into my spacious suite #1226, I admired the king-size bed dressed with luxury sheets and earth-kind pillows to ensure a good night's sleep. There was a wine refrigerator stocked with bottles of sparkling, red and white wines. Twice a day a staff member restocked my minibar with sodas, beers, waters and snacks. Also there was a bottle of Mezcal and other spirits for my own private party on my terrace. I slid open the glass doors to take in the ocean and palm tree views. The palms provided privacy when I relaxing in the swirling soaking tub. I hooked my hammock for a comfortable swing while taking in the views. The luxury bathroom has beautiful stone and marble in the see-through glass shower with two rain shower heads. I appreciated the luxurious bath amenities, aromatherapy, rosewater spray and insect repellent. In June the sun was bright and warm, so the best place to hang out during the day was in one of the four pools. Each one offers a unique experience and view. For a bird's-eye view, the rooftop UNIK infinity pool has a clear glass wall for underwater peek-a-boo swim viewing. We ordered a margarita and glass of sparkling bubbly wine from the dedicated bar team, while sitting in a lounge chair under an umbrella. This area also has UNIK The Kitchen, for light tapas during lunch and sunset dining while gazing out to the sea. In the evening, UNIK Sky Lounge is the highest rooftop bar and lounge in Isla Mujeres. This was a popular spot for guests to take in 360 degree views while listening to a live DJ watching a native fire show. Another popular pool during the day was the open-air lagoon-style pool off the lobby. There are lounge chairs in the water to stay cool while reading a good book and napping. I dunked into the perfect temperature water and swam-up to 'Shark' bar to order an Aperol Spritz. The attentive pool team checked on me often to hydrate me with water and any requested food items. There are seven different dining venues and five different bars at the resort. I usually woke up and went down to Cacao Bakery and Cafe for coffee, tea, green juice and Mexican breakfast delights. One of my favorite lunch experiences was tasting the vibrant regional Mexican flavors at La Vista. Order a margarita, guacamole and chips for starters. The fresh fish tacos and sopas with a Mexican beer were also an excellent choice. Dining at Sake the first night, I enjoyed a variety of flavorful Pan-Asian dishes. They also have two teppanyaki tables where a personal chef prepares a set menu in such an entertaining manner right before your eyes. Wildfire Grill is the resort's beloved steakhouse with a wine dining room lined with Mexican and Chilean wines. Reserve a spot to spend part of an afternoon tasting wines during a sommelier led wine tasting class. Guests receive four tastes of different wines and a charcuterie board with different types of cheese, meat and fruit. Each day we participated in a range of fun water activities. The warm temperature and rich biodiversity of marine life is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking along the picturesque coral reefs. Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets is an intimate resort designed for couples seeking serenity, sunset moments, moonlight strolls and privacy away from crowds.

Amazing place to enjoy and relax!!
It was one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. The service was exceptional and we just felt like celebrities the entire time. It is a very cozy and romantic resort. Our butlers Edgar and Angel were always available and took good care of us while we were there. We were celebrating our babymoon and they made it very special for us. We are vegetarians and were worried about getting good vegetarian friendly food options but we enjoyed every meal we had at all the restaurants. They went above and beyond to customize the meals for us. There were so many activities to do on the property itself like Karaoke, Yoga, Spa, Psychic reading etc. Ritik made us feel like home away from home. He was very welcoming and he made sure we got everything we needed. The Catamaran service was also awesome and staff for the catamaran and lounge area were amazing. We were really sad to leave and will definitely go back again as soon as we get a chance.
