Spring Breakers are defined as Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. - One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required
 per room for check-in. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. - In the event that any guest(s) engaging in inappropriate behavior, disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest(s)

STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family-oriented environment, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. Students/youth are considered by the hotel as any person between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:

  • All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
  • In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

    Nothing short of amazing

    The trip was nothing less than amazing from the time we arrived until we left. The little things that I will mention are for improvement not a deal breaker. On arrival it was a little confusing when you are told about the breakfast and presentation like it a requirement. I had 4 rooms and a few of them didn’t have the same items in the rooms. My room had no soap, bag slippers etc. I had an ocean front room with the butler, so should have been stocked. All of our butlers were amazing we had a few, Chris and Jamie stood out and were very kind and accommodating. Housekeeping did a great job with keeping the rooms cleaned and the turn down service was an added touch. I ordered room service one time and it never came. I called 2 hours later and I was told it will be 10 minutes more but it was over 30. The mini bar/snacks were not refilled daily. I had to request it and even then it took almost 3 days to get more chips. I notice some items were out of stock both on room service and in the restaurants. Overall the restaurant staff were very nice and offered to help and cleaned the dishes as we finished. Plenty of food and drink options all day long. Renee that worked poolside was very friendly and kept the drinks and water flowing. The check out process was easy even though I had an item on my tab that was not charged until I was all checked out and waiting on my shuttle. I checked out an hour early since I had 4 rooms and the cake was bought on day 2 of 7 so should of been on my tab. Again this review is for improvement definitely not a deal breaker.

    Christopher and Jamie

    We had the pleasure of being assisted by Christopher and Jamie during our stay at the resort, and they truly made our experience exceptional. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and warm hospitality were second to none. From handling our requests promptly to going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, they were always available with a smile and positive attitude. Christopher’s efficiency and knowledge of the resort were impressive, while Jamie’s personal touches and care for our needs made us feel at home. They both contributed to making our stay unforgettable, and we can’t thank them enough for their outstanding service. If you’re staying at the resort, I highly recommend requesting Christopher and Jamie as your butlers. They will make sure your experience is nothing short of perfect!

    5 star service from sun up to sundown!

    We returned here to celebrate our 20 year anniversary and were treated like royalty! Our butlers checked in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything throughout the day made us feel very special. Their attention to detail was impeccable. The highlight was when we returned to our room on our anniversary night to a decorated door and bed along with champagne for our anniversary. Made us feel very special. The daily treats and snacks were a nice touch as well. Everyone exceeded our expectations with kindness and willingness to assist with everything. The best butler team ever!!!

    Ocean front with butler service

    Great experience at this hotel! We got the ocean front room with butler service and had two fantastic butlers -Kadeen and Ralston. They went all out to ensure my mother was comfortable and felt cared for. I appreciate them making this a very special vacation for her! Our room was beautiful and well maintained. The cleaning staff did a great job. Our best restaurant experience was the Jamaican restaurant where Karen made us feel like family! My only negative was the vendors on the beach offering to sell us drugs. They were not worried about the security guards who walked right past them. I can do without the smell of marijuana on the beach. I definitely recommend getting the butler service and I’m looking forward to returning soon. I’ll be back!

    What happened to the luxury?

    I travel frequently to this resort and have always left wanting to return. I can't say that for this trip. It is definitely not the luxury I have come to expect. Saying that, it should be noted that the hotel is going through "rebranding" so things are not being fixed and maintained because of this. I am writing this to let new visitors know what you are experiencing is not the norm for this facility. The beach is amazing and in it's natural state. No man made beach here! The views are stunning and staff do what they can to be of help. Please tip well, drove me crazy to see folks tipping a dollar!! If you knew the cost of living here, and the type of travel staff need to use just to get to work, you would feel more gracious with your tips. Shout out to the lobby bar staff, the butlers (Omar/Valentine/Alex), and the folks in Guest services. I will return after the rebranding for sure.
