Paradise all in one spot
This beautiful Rui is all you need in one spot. No travelling far for eating and entertainment. The food in the restaurants were amazing and even for the pickiest of little ones, there's always something to choose from. The only thing I would recommend here is more room available for breakfast times. Even though the lines moved quick, they still had lots of people waiting for the major buffet area. The beach area is nice. Beware though of the times you go, as the waves will be a bit harsh. Our room was awesome and clean. Loved the cappuccino's at the sports bar. Staff was very friendly. we're not very picky people but if you needed something just ask! Don't miss out on the Friday nights Neon Show!!

The worst Mexico experience
Terrible experience everything was dirty, no air conditioning in rooms we had to get a new one, minimal elevators that make getting to your room a pain if its far from where the elevators are, average food at best, not worth the time or money at all.

Great staff
Resort is clean and staff are great. Some repairs are needed but overall a great place. We got to eat and use the pool at Riu Vallarta which was a great deal

dont do it , spend the extra money
I am an African American woman and would hate to think that is was treated with such distain. This was my third RIU stay and defiantly the worse. I will never go to this resort again. The water did not work for 1 day in which they sent me a bottle of champagne for inconvenience, every day at this resort I was overlooked and unassisted with anything requested. The food was barley edible at best. it is really just a vacation location for locals and or their families. I complained several times about the treatment of myself and my husband , the staff overlooking you and standing having conversations with other guest while having you wait for 10 to 20 minutes. I was once advised a restaurant was closed while a couple behind me was advised to sit for a table when i made notice to this the manager rushed me in and asked that I sit and wait 40 to 50 minutes after seating the other couple. If they prefer Black People not come to their resort they should just say so. There was 2 other couples with the same issues we formed somewhat of an alliance played cards listed to my speaker and were pretty much forced to find entertainment as there was little to none on the resort.
